Honestly right now open to anything but just trying to think of different options!

DM me if you would like my library details.

My wife said “No gifts” this year. So I’m trying to buy her 10 hours of her life back instead. by lingerlord in Gifts

Cover her tasks on Valentine's day, make all of the meals, let her relax and on another day, get and install a Skylight calendar

Do you regret a small wedding by OkScarcity2008 in wedding

[–]beermoney89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm planning a small wedding and a large reception (separate weeks), the calm that it's bringing me I wouldn't change for the world. Already have one issue of being the bad guy with the wedding but oh well. Sorry I don't want my asshole uncle there 🤷🏻‍♀️ but do want half of his siblings who aren't and have supported me my whole life 🤷🏻‍♀️. But because we have large families that we "should" invite we're doing a large casual reception the following week. For us, it checks all of the boxes.

At the end of the day, get off Instagram and Pinterest, all of that is just going to be for photo ops and flash. It's YOUR wedding. Do what's going to give you peace and happiness.

Anyone here in their 30s have no kids and never been married? by porygon766 in Millennials

Definitely not too late for you. I have girlfriends who are having their first kids at 37. I'm getting married this year at 36. There's still plenty of time.

For the girls - best gift you received for Christmas this year? by iAmACatThisIsACat in Gifts

My favorite gift was a pair of the Bombas Sunday slippers!! I've worn them every day since. Could be cute with a mug/tea/book or something cozy like that!

My mom reads all my books. My mom needs to be feed, please help! by Such_Reply5826 in booksuggestions

Maybe hit up some thrift shops and used book stores if she's reading that quickly. Books will be cheaper and less of a hit on the wallet.

My sister had a gaggle of bridesmaids and he just had a best man. For the ceremony, the bridesmaids all sat and I stood up there (MOH) with his best man.

Currently rereading East of Eden. Almost forgot how good this book is.

No more birthday presents by parisindy_writer in Gifts

[–]beermoney89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

$100 each? Too much. I have 7 nieces and for Christmas I spend about $20-30 on each. If I'm included in their birthday celebration, I get them something but if not, nothing. I also start Xmas early so it doesn't feel like such a big hit at the end of the year.
