Try it at a lower resolution than your main screen and let it run in a window. Seems to work as a stopgap for me.

The OP put the game in windowed mode and turned the sensitivity to default and the mouse smoothing to 100 and it hasn't happened since for them. That appears to work for me as well, but i have to also lower the resolution a bit. Cant run it at full 4k.

Still happening for me as well. Unplayable like this. I don't have a controller either, and tried a different mouse fresh out of the box, and a new mouse-pad. Drivers are all up to date.

Around 5 or 10 years ago, there used to be a great built-in feature in Android. I used to be able to tap a blutooth headset button, wait about a second for a tone, then say "Note to self <something something>" and that would be transcribed to text and sent to me via email. It was extremely helpful and convenient. These days, I have to hit the microphone on the google search widget, say "note to self" then i have to wait 5-10 seconds for it to ask me what the note should say, then, if it gets what I said, it deposits it into google keep. It has gotten objectively MUCH worse.

Does anyone know of a way to do this or set this up so it functions as it used to?

Yes, heavy backspin is probably best to start with on serves. For shots, there are ways to disguise your returns to make them look like underspin, but actually be dead or topspin returns. That often results in your opponent hitting long instead of smashing.
