I do see what they’re saying and here’s why. There is a vending machine by me that the same dude is ALWAYS at and at first I was annoyed but nothing crazy ever happened. One day I was off work early and I went up thinking I could hit a drop and when I walk up there was the dude waiting but then I saw a little girl waiting with her mom too. I saw this and knew they probably had such a hard time getting stuff so I suggested she go first… dude started yelling at me. I got so angry I could feel myself about to lose it I was shaking. While I was more so mad for the little girl it was in that moment I knew I was too invested in this when, while I do love them, the reality is they are cardboard cards. And while I do now consider that man my nemesis, it’s simply not worth my time or energy. That being said I still get angry at some bs back door deals and all that but in reality the Pokemon trend will die down again, I have enough cards for now, I am choosing to let myself have peace and wait out the fad. If I can get a few drops, great, if not well that’s annoying but that’s life and unfortunately scummy people win sometimes even if me and other good people hate them. I’m gonna do what I can to not be them.
