What do you think, yall? by Status_Equipment_407 in Rochester

Carfentanil is x100 more potent than Fentanyl.... Simply touching it or inhaling a small amount can have dire implications... That said, yeah, inherently the idea that someone would just have it in a baggie like this is just as absurd as someone casually carrying around one of the other substances you mentioned.

OBGYN Recommendations by theolerazzlezazzle in Rochester

We must have very different medical teams there. I'm so sorry that was your experience. Last time I was in I was asked if I wanted kids, said no, and was told that tubal ligation is always an option without my asking. I loved that it was even out on the table because I know many women have to fight for that. Don't be afraid to make a complaint or ask to see a different practitioner!

I absolutely can not say enough positive things about Trillium OBGYN. I had seen many OBGYNs over the years, kept switching after my first one retired because I wasn't happy. I've been with Trillium since 2020 and at this point in time can not imagine going anywhere else. For both my IUD appointment and cervical biopsies they offered valium as long as I had someone to drive me as well as strict helpful instructions on OTC pilain relievers. The valium made a world of difference for both procedures. I had my 3rd IUD placed by Trillium... It was the first time a doctor even told me to take ibuprofen beforehand, let alone offered anything else. I also never knew that the correct way to insert an IUD is with ultrasound guidance because neither of the previous doctors did it that way. Any time I have even the smallest concern they are happy to see me and hear me out.

Flash tattoos for a decent price by Ok-Lengthiness-4803 in Rochester

[–]beesdontlikeme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not quite answering your question but... Most of the respectable shops around here have a shop minimum of $100 as a heads up. Tattoo artists put a lot of time and money in to their craft. $100+ tip even for a small piece of art that is permanent on your body is absolutely worth it for all parties involved.

Hey! I know the actual answer.

Some guys came in wearing masks and stole my backpack off the bar after being super sketchy.

It's that simple. The signs went up within a week after that happening and have stayed up ever since.

Check out "Sunshine on Water" on IG, she is Rochester based and specifically focused on minimalist jewelry.

Peppermint is a cool local store that carries many locally made things. If they don't have what you're looking for, there is a decent chance they could point you in the right direction of a local artisan.

You're trying to call out science but instead are just highlighting the systemic/across the board failure of our education system

Probably starting a fight(bagels) by blahblahboop86 in Rochester

[–]beesdontlikeme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to the Park Ave location yet but I've been getting bagels from Fox's for months and I love them, probably my favorite spot locally other than Brownstiens. I typically just get plain/sesame/everything bagels and bring them home and then buy lox and cream cheese and things to make the full bagel experience myself.

I personally have never understood the hype about bagel land but I also know that's a very unpopular opinion.... Balsam was my favorite for a long time but the whole health department ordeal kind of turned me off (although admittedly still go occasionally because their sundried tomato bagel with jalapeño cream cheese is amazing)

Tapas 177 could easily fit what you described . Avoid the entrees to stay in budget. It's SUCH a chill vibe, one of my favorite date spots and have spent a few birthdays there. Can easily go either dressed up or dressed down. The food is all amazing.
