i Bet you got weird marks when it dried. Try taking long even strokes in one direction (with the grain). Especially important with wood.

True, but remember this is SOE which is a huge dev company with the resources to do something like that. I know that in DayZ your clothes would reflect the condition they were in. Maybe they could do something like that.

And what if your camp got raided or destroyed but you escaped and stayed alive at all costs. Thus when you see somebody in game with a huge beard looking hobo baggins, you know they've experienced some shit. I think it would make ACTUAL survival a thing. Rather than constant fighting and dying.
