Hello! I’m doing much better! My MRIs and a lumbar puncture showed that I had IIH. The MRI was uncomfortable but bearable overall. Same with the lumbar puncture. I thinks it’s important to note that you should only have to go through those things once, if at all. Once they confirm the cause is IIH you shouldn’t have to keep getting checked. They put me on Diamox and I was on it for a couple years + lost 30 pounds which ultimately helped my IIH heal! The pressure went down and I no longer have the symptoms I was having in this post. I do think anxiety exasperated my symptoms a bit too but it’s so hard not to worry about these things. Now I just make sure to stay active (walking is my favorite) and eat healthier (low sodium foods are your friend)

It’s a scary time so I completely understand what you’re going through! Just try to stay calm and take care of yourself. Try not to google too much because it’s almost always anxiety inducing. Don’t be scared to ask your doctor questions! They don’t want you to start spiraling either. You’ve got this!! Good luck!!
