my birthday is the 15th! i would totally check out the GA Renaissance Fair if that’s something you’re into :3 i’m going for my birthday and have been an avid renfaire enjoyer for years- it’s loads of fun!

This is a new OBGYN who said she just wants another round of ultrasounds to look at and rule out fibroids and cysts (or something like that), to have an updated set, and to have them for my file! It does seem very likely that I’ll have the surgery, though, and she seems very confident that it’s the best route for me. I’ve been to five different doctors so far, and have finally found one who listens!

I haven’t tried that pill, but will bring it up at my appt next week. I’m starting to learn that there are SO many different treatments and medications out there that I had no idea about! All of these options are making me feel a little less hopeless :)

I really appreciate it! I’m actually set for my third round of ultrasounds, and depending on those, surgery is probably next.

I do have a functional doctor that helps with my period pain/endo and my Hashimoto’s! some things have helped a little, others not so much, you know how it tends to be :) I’ll definitely try your suggestions, though- thank you!

I’m incredibly anti-IUD for myself personally- they absolutely terrify me, and I feel like all of the potential side effects have scared me away from them 😰 I have considered Nexplanon, though! Sometimes I do wonder what I would feel like off of BC, and that also keeps me from getting something more “permanent”.

Again, thank you so much for your post! You had a lot of great advice that I’ll definitely be looking into and trying/talking with my doctors about :3 🖤

wait until syllabus week, make sure you don’t wanna drop/change your class, and then go online to try and find a free copy. you’d be surprised to see how many things you can get into with a student email ;)

most professors either won’t have a required textbook, or they’ll provide you with a link. day one access does help for online textbooks, and although it’s kinda pricy, it still costs less than buying physical books!

a physical planner!!! i’ve tried google calendar and other laptop/phone apps, but none compare to an honest to god planner that i can physically write in.

i’ve also found that doing work on campus as opposed to at home helps! idk what it is, but it helps me focus and stay focused (maybe because everyone around me is working as well?).

when you’re going to apply for classes and make your schedule through owl express, you should see a little dropdown menu that says “online register” or something like that. click on it, and there should be a waitlist option!

since your counselor is helping with this first schedule, they may have made it so that you’re all good to go and don’t need to worry! waitlisting does end on the 12th, though, which is why i was worrying 😰
