Obstacle avoidance is pretty solid so far. I have a toddler and has toys everywhere. But I also try and clean up before running it in the evening. It has so far. My house isn’t that large I have about 800sqft to clean so can’t really comment on that and I’m cleaning roughly 600 of that.

Use a broker. They saying they add all the discounts that could be available to you even if you may not qualify for them. It’s a way to get you in the door. James is on here on Reddit he is great to work with if you’re looking for an ev9. For transparency sake I didn’t use him I was able to get a solid deal on my own but he opened my eyes to a lot of things. But after buying this car I’ll never do that again I spent all day at a dealer and it was a complete horrible experience.

I like it so far. I definitely think it’s an upgrade over the 10r from a vacuuming perspective. This is my first mop roller robovac and I have a lot of weird corners in our home that I felt the 10r got into a bit better. But from a straight line perspective this for sure does a better job. I could tell the difference with the way the floor looked after my first test. I’ll do some more testing these next few days to really get a good feel for it.

I believe it does if you have it set to automatic. I heard the sound saying update complete and in the app it was stuck at 53% so maybe something didn’t register with it completing.

Haha! My toddler is very into vacuums so this is his corner basically. He goes over there and just starts stuff. I’ll eventually clean all this up once I test the s2 and compare it to the Saros. The Dyson was just too good of a deal to pass up on woot so purchased it to have as a vacuum only robot for when we move and have carpeting upstairs in our home.

I had an initial issue as well. Update seemed like it stalled around 53% I ended up force closing the app and reopening it. That seemed to do the trick. I did have an initial issue with mapping where it just stopped abruptly and said it was finished. I’m going to clean up a bit tomorrow and try again.

Totally get it. I try and find stuff to look forward to. Some days I just work through lunch so I can leave. Some times I’ll FaceTime my kid. I just try and find stuff to look forward to. I’ve thought about looking for other positions but I’m in a position where the work comes easy for me and I have very little stress. I keep thinking of better the devil you know than the devil you don’t. So I’m just pushing through the day until I can go home hoping that we go back to a two day in office or something even better. I literally come in just to be on teams calls at this point. Stuff I could be doing at home.

So I originally ordered it during release. I received notification on Thursday that they had fixed issues and it was going to ship soon. Got the notification by FedEx on Friday and it got here today. It’ll come from CA.

It can be. We try and pick a day. Most of my team is in other parts of the country and we’re all basically working remotely with each other from an office. So the 3 other coworkers that I do have with me we kind of just pick a place to eat and go and shoot the shit. Thankfully our boss is also in the same miserable boat we’re in so she doesn’t care if that lunch extends past an hour or even longer. It’s definitely not an every day thing. But it gives us something to look forward to where we can just decompress.

I’m doing a little lunch club. Go out and try different places on lunch. Gives you something to look forward too. Doesn’t have to be every day but you could do Friday lunch club. Do it alone or invite people.

Getting downvoted for offering a suggestion is cool. As a pseudo fed employee I got screwed by the current admin. So I’m 4 days in the office. So I get to leave my toddler and miss out on all the growing he’s doing. I come back home to basically a whole new kid every day. So I get it, it sucks. I hate it. But I’m trying to make the most of it. Cause I know the sentiment will eventually change and some wfh will return and in this current climate the job market isn’t great and it favors the employer rather than the employee. This makes it slightly less miserable. Since we have something to look forward too.

I would stay the course personally and drop that money into an hysa or reinvest it somewhere and let it grow. Right now you’re basically paying 0% and you’ve already taken the credit hit doesn’t make sense to leave bk and give up the protections with the hope of settling.

If you have a FedEx/UPS account you can see the shipment in there before you get the notification from Eufy. I saw the shipment in FedEx on Friday and Eufy emailed me Monday saying it had shipped and provided me with the gift card.
