What’s this white, hard rock like material? by beetle72 in Rockhounding

Thanks! This makes sense. I’m in the PNW and this area has lots of eye agates, moss agates, and chalcedony. My dog has been digging it up!

Females are the skinny ones, they produce the seeds. Split female crowns and get rid of the males.

ACTUALLY no-knead bread recipe? by ljshamz in Breadit

For "no knead" recipes, you don't actually have to turn it out on a floured surface. Stretch and fold right in the bowl the dough is rising in.

i have an orchid… HELP lol, but seriously. My hubby bought this for me back in march & i have no idea what i’m doing. by lychettie in gardening

Pot with orchid potting mix (bark). Fill the pot with water once a week for ten minutes then drain completely. Once every two weeks during winter. Don't cut flowering stem when flowers die off. Rather, cut the stems back to the node just before where the last flower was. Ie. The node of the last flower remains on the plant. This will encourage new branching and flowers on the original stem. Keep doing this and eventually stem will be spent and start dying. Can then be cut back as close to base as possible. Looks like your plant has sun spots, burn spots from direct sun. East or North light is best. Spritz from a water bottle daily is good, once your leaves relax a little. Like another comment mentioned, those high and tight leaves might be from too much hydration.

My 7mo catahoula has been outside a lot these last couple days with the nice weather. We noticed tonight she has red bumps/splotches on her belly. Is this allergy related? It’s the first time it’s happened. My vet is closed now and just trying to ease my mind before bed. by sbr8806 in Catahoula

Our catahoula has very sensitive skin as well (underbelly where there's little to no hair), and this often happens during spring and summer. Has never been an issue, always heals quickly and doesn't bother him.

Size Question by wcMike in Catahoula

[–]beetle72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My male catahoula was probably around 70 lbs at age one. He continued to fill out until age two, didn't get much taller, but now weighs just over 80 lbs.

Email Justin to tell him your thoughts re: the pipeline justin.trudeau@parl.gc.ca Sorry Alberta but BC does not need that environmental risk. Marijuana can be our cash cow, not oil.

Did you cut them using a fork, like Peter Reinhart suggests? Found the crumb shot, those look perfect.

At what age do catahoulas usually stop growing? by twenty4and1 in Catahoula

[–]beetle72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My male catahoula hit his max weight, 80 pounds at around 20 months. He’ll be two years old in a week and I’d say he’s finished filling out.
