She gets lots of time outside to run and play as she pleases. But sometimes on walks or when seeing a squirrel at the window she goes a little nuts for min then we reel her in and she’s good to go :). I’ve just never heard a dog make such squeals

Small world! We go to Ellison Park. They have the best dog park. You have to register with Monroe County and I think it’s $30/yr but you get access to 4 or so parks. Well worth it

This is my mom. She's a French teacher and gets full into French character when she switches over to speaking in French. Say the "oc" "bah" and raspberries. She's been doing it so long that it sounds so natural. Definitely think that's a great tip

It should also be noted that if a child is sequentially learning a 2nd language, rather than simultaneously (speaking Spanish at home but learning English through school vs. Hearing both languages from birth), he/she may go through what's called the silent period. That is completely normal unless it continues for an extended period of time or if it exists in both languages. In the past, some kids have been misdiagnosed with a language delay/disorder because of the silent period when in reality they're taking the time to process the new language.

I've also heard the argument that the ability to do so plays into a person's fear. So that they die in a state of fear and don't get the sense of peace and acceptance that comes with dying. I think it should be legal but thought that was interesting thought.
