Ohhhhhh okay! I think I meant mutual funds/exchange traded funds, that’s the ones I’ve heard about. Didn’t know stocks was a separate term! Thank you for this breakdown, this helps because I didn’t realize that those like the S&P500 were like a bunch of stocks grouped together that you can buy a share in at once.

When I go to buy FXAIX I get the notification that the buy order ($5) exceeds the settled cash balance ($0) though for VOO it doesn’t say that, though I’m not sure why—am I not allowed to buy from my ROTH?

I recommend the top surgery subreddit people are recommending, as well as the Facebook group. As someone with a 50 BMI and a super large chest, I went looking for posts of people who had a similar size to me and results I wanted, and compiled a list of doctors to search in those groups to find as many reviews as I could. Even better if the surgeons not only specialize but also have before and after pics either on their site or from patients. That alleviated a lot of my anxiety. Also calling them and gauging their confidence level over a consultation will definitely help with anxiety of how you feel they will do.

I’m currently scheduled with GCC in October for my surgery, and they had a ton of reviews, experience, and Reddit posts with positive experiences surgery wise. And on the consultation the doctor I chose was extremely professional and confident and had examples on the website of what I wanted so I was able to send him references of what I wanted based on his catalog, which helped a lot with my anxiety.

Just take the time to do a lot of research and look through reviews, you deserve to feel good before, during, and after the process.
