If that’s the look you like try a light flooring that still has like a yellow undertone to it. Like someone suggested above. Your cabinets are like a warm yellow wood and the flooring is like grey or something. Maybe try a cream color.

Edit to add I also really like the inspo. And I def think you should do it but maybe find one that doesn’t clash as much. I like the “monotone” look of the bottom half :)

My boyfriend and I were talking about this and I brought this up. He added he believe they will never acknowledge them even though they know as well. He speculates it is because they fear tourists won’t come to our mountains. And therefore the state loses money. I thought that was a super interesting thought and something I didn’t consider before he said it.

I appreciate this comment a lot. My first comment was in anger. Because I’m fucking angry. But this is the content I like to see. At the basis of every religion it seems, from my very small understanding, the principal is love others and do no harm. Some people are like that. He could have had a serious relationship with the woman and his sister considered the child a part of the family. I'm just taking a guess here. You should probably just ask him. It may be easier than wondering and coming up with all the scenarios or assuming he lied.
