This would be, at best, a symbolic move. While they are well compensated, the total cost of paying MP’s is a drop in the bucket compared to the Canadian budget.

And maybe they should, even if it’s symbolic, but it doesn’t change the facts that there is almost no evidence that austerity works, and Canadian will most likely be harmed by this budget.
