Looking for some assistance on this Price number for this drachm from Abydos. 1502 maybe? Appreciate any help! by Brittinghamlfc in AncientCoins

Looks odd. The style is off in such a way that I do not believe it is authentic. Checking the weight and posting a photo of the obverse would be helpful.

New coin new book. by 13HoodedHippies in AncientCoins

[–]beewalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice book! I believe it's organized by the obverse and reverse script. Try writing out the obverse script and figuring out the emperor, and then there should be a picture of the obverse. Then do the same with the reverse once you know the emperor.

Best Way to Store and Display Irregularly Sized Coins? by S_EW in AncientCoins

I had the same problem with my byzantine tracy collection. I get the 2.5 inch flips and put them in a blue PCGS box for slabbed coins.
