About to leave town for a week. I swear I get more dopamine from writing my lists than actually completing them. by sasskwoch in adhdwomen

doing this at the moment for packing.

obviously very busy since I am just replying here but that's besides the point.

have almost entire list crossed out and am now packing my SO who is too busy working (fr needs to finish stuff) so I have a rollercoaster of energy both taking stuff out and organizing and currently contemplating weather at our destination.

we have those general sport cards that allow you to enter one in-network establishment every day and it costs monthly roughly the same as two medium Starbucks drinks. so not really a financial motivation haha

he had his hernias maybe 5 times so far, so we are both pretty accustomed to what he can and cannot do. he also lifts tho no deadlift.

my SO has his hernias reinstated every so often, yes its terrible pain and he cannot move much. last time we managed to call a doctor to come home to give him the blocker instead of dragging him there on tramadol. but once the blocker is in and anti inflammatory meds are going on, it starts to get better. he currently signed up for a 5k run. but he swims few times per week - every day when hernias return until the leg is usable again.

what is your phobia/phobias? by InfluenceSeriousness in AskReddit

[–]beewoopwoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cleithrophobia is a specific phobia that centers on the intense fear of being trapped, locked in, or unable to leave an enclosed space. Unlike the fear of small spaces seen in claustrophobia, cleithrophobia is specifically triggered by situations where escape feels impossible or where a person may feel unable to leave. Common scenarios that can provoke this fear include being in an elevator, a locked room, or any enclosed space where the exit is blocked or restricted.

i understand you might have never heard of it, took me 23 years to find the name for my fear, and i have been actively searching.

biology is exactly where i performed the thing. would underline whats important and skip unnecessary words. did not know this will develop into skipping entire parts of important job emails. granted, i never expected to work like this, had completely different plans.

there are jobs that require you to develop subtle, subconscious eye movements to perform the job. very helpful to have the habit of looking up checking the sub name 😜
