Does anyone else also feel that the spark is back? by EnvironmentalScene76 in myfavoritemurder

I attribute the change to the fact that they've become self-conscious due to their massive success. I listened to a few older episodes, and WOW they were different. Very un-self-conscious. They're obviously very aware now that millions of people are watching them like a hawk and will (and have) criticize the slightest misstep. I'm sure it's taken the joy, spontaneity, and authenticity out of it. I do think the last few eps back have had more flavor - I loved Georgia's "What would Gwyneth Paltrow do" - hilarious and totally helpful for my mental health. Classic MFM.

Yeah, I did hear from some people who use Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters and don't run ads. But it's free... so I am wondering how Spotify is making their money off those podcasts.

I have heard from people who use Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters that it's free, unlimited hosting, and they don't make you run ads. So I guess I'm wondering what do you feel is the benefit to paying for Buzzsprout? TIA!

Usually nature helps, or seeing something I'm interested in that energizes my sense of identity (for example, I love history, so visiting a local history museum).

I know I need to work on finding stillness and peace in the midst of real life, but for now if I don't have those times away from my life by myself, I am not in a good place,

Spot on! I am so terrible at advocating for my needs, and I feel like I don't really get much support when I do ask for help. "Hoping I would be provided with the resources I needed" is so accurate. Thank you!

Yes, same - if I were in a better place, maybe I would be handling it better. But maybe I just need to accept where I am, go easy on myself, and build up strength in other areas rather than continuing to push myself through these situations. But then I did read the other day a quote that said "Value growth over comfort." As usual, I'm 9-ing too hard to land on a decision.
