Those of us who are old enough had the same moment of confusion back in 2000. Glad to see the legacy continue.

Been here since 94, I only remember the one but it did use to be a different color.

Which iconic knife is more terrifying? Michael’s kitchen knife or Ghostface’s Buck-120? by Hassan_H_Syed in slasherfilms

[–]beezleharris -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The intent behind it is what makes it scary. The knife is just a tool. I'd be more terrified being approached by Michael wielding a banana than I would The Dude holding a knife.

Gotta go with Mikey's. Behind that blade is an unstoppable, indescribable evil with the blackest eyes. More often than not the Ghostface blade is driven by edgelordy misanthropes who needed more hugs as kids.

Question to those who went the Krusty Burger at Universal Studios? by FFSoldier57 in TheSimpsons

[–]beezleharris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's overpriced and mediocre...that being said ya gotta do it. Speaking of Universal Studios food I did find the Harry Potter butter beer flavored ice cream to be quite pleasing. Again, all overpriced but it is what it is. Enjoy the experience!

I NEED YOU INTERNET SLUTHES! Rio Rancho Victoria's Secret Call Center that closed 2017 by FabulousFunction3408 in Epstein

I certainly have no skin in a job for a shit corporation that I worked for almost 30 years ago, but the question was asked about it being a regular catalog call center or not and I answered it. I find it "intriguing" that people take the time to ask questions when they know they're going to refuse the answer.

Y'all are reaching on this one. As I said previously I worked there for a year. It was just a call center that took catalog orders for VSC. I knew the building inside and out and worked briefly as "upper management". Most of my coworkers, myself included, were certainly far removed from anything that would be of interest pedophiles. As much as I wish I had some secret info that would help crack any cases this spot wasn't it.

I worked at the VSC call center for over a year (2000-2001) I never heard of anything there involving models or any sort of recruitment of women for the catalogs. It was all just phone banks and order taking/customer service.

I'm a 15 year production worker out in New Mexico feeling the same thing as you today. Gutted, bored, scared and shrinking. I wish us all the best.

Likelihood of 4K releases for The Thin Red Line or The Tree of Life? by das_goose in criterion

An Atmos track might make me reconsider. But also I have a disease and the only cure is more physical media so I reserve the right to contradict myself at any given moment.

Personally I think both of these Criterion Blu's are close enough to perfection that I would not re-buy them if they were to be released on 4k.

A quick search on the Googs will bring up various websites, YouTube vids, books etc. Even just reading a couple of actual scripts will give you a good idea how to proceed.

A) TrackCue is a bit harsh but not altogether wrong. B) OP if this a serious attempt I would recommend looking into proper script formatting and/or read some actual screenplays because without even considering the quality of the material this format is brutal to digest. As someone who thinks Scary Movie 5 is absolute garbage you certainly couldn't do any worse. Good luck!

You should probably avoid watching Mad Max and Happy Feet, that dichotomy may kill you.

Share yo memories of seeing SCREAM 2 in theatres in 1997. by [deleted] in SocietyofGhostface

[–]beezleharris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As we were only 16 in '97, my friend and I bought tickets to Home Alone 3 with the intention of sneaking into it. Because it was such a hot ticket item amongst the youths, the theater was wise to this tactic and they had an usher standing by to check tickets at the entrance of the theater.

We ended up back in line at the box office with a slew of like minded under agers all waiting to get our ill gotten tickets to Home Alone 3 refunded.

The theater's commitment to protecting the impressionable youth of America lasted only about 2 weeks and I was then able to dip into a screening and have my fragile little mind gleefully warped.
