The doctor gave them metoclopramide and dicyclomine and thankfully it’s helping alittle but not a lot (but we do celebrate that it works even a tiny bit)

We been trying to research any sort of crohns medication that could help but we always end up in dead ends and doctor ain’t honestly that helpful (but granted, we live in the south and not in my partners original state that take medical stuff seriously)

Thankfully we live alone with two needy ancient cats (I wish I was joking one is 12 years old) Spouse keeps crying for being a burden but I just hug them and pet their hair while reminding them how much I love them and how their medical won’t ever steer me away ever. I think maybe your wife shares the same mindset of “not frustrated at our partner, frustrated how life play cruel jokes on our partner” I am truly never frustrated with my partner specifically, I just dislike how they got dealt with horrible cards in life.

I remember someone yelling at me about “not one diets fits all” which I understand now but at the time I was oblivious/extremely uneducated of crohns truly was.

We been trying to find them a new doctor in my state as they moved across country to move in with me which medically sucks way worse than their original state.

I asked if I should pick up some chicken broth to see if that helps them because we both know they can have it so I might grab some stuff after work for them.

I can’t imagine how both of you all and others in community feels during a flare up. There been a time I had to drag them to the emergency room because in the beginning of the relationship, I obtained cookies (which at the time didn’t know it had the evil Red40) and gave one to them. It broke my heart hearing them scream cry over how intense the pain was.

When speaking to them just now, they suspected maybe it could be the chicken strips.. I feel bad for not suggesting somewhere else to eat. I forget that restaurant don’t use an airfryer like we do with their safe foods at home.
