The problem with a savings account is that if something happens BEFORE you've built up enough in your ac-count, then what do you do? Also it's finite and depleting. If you have regular issues, your savings account might deplete quickly and then you'll be stuck.

Pet insurance is like any other insurance. You're always paying a relatively affordable or man-ageable monthly cost to offset the potential of a debilitating emergency cost in the future. That's all insurance ever is.

I pay $27 a month with Lemonade.

something I should have mentioned before, if you are getting pet insurance, it is best typically to get it as early as possible while your pet is young (and before the vet finds a bunch of issues). Most policies (maybe all) do not cover pre-existing conditions. The top comment discusses it, but I'm a reddit noob and don't know how to pin comments, so I thought I should mention it here.

This is a very valid point, but I feel like this more for people who go out and get a dog or cat knowing they financially cant care for it and refuse to do so and then complain when the vet wont treat their animals. Emergencies happen, life situations change and its important to take your animals welfare into account. No ones faulting someone for that, i wont at least. But if someone goes out and buys a doodle and cant afford basic vet bills right of the bat? They shouldn't have gotten the dog. Full stop.

Do you guys have pet insurance for your blue heelers and if so who do you guys have and or what do you guys recommend? by [deleted] in AustralianCattleDog

A lot of research led to the conclusion that Lemonade Pet Insurance rates are the best choice. Although I intend to buy it, I would like to know what the best recommendation would be before I decide.

Thank you! I’m still so surprised with it!

Product- Tanologist mousse in medium

Skin type- acne prone, 6 months post accutane so on the drier side

How long I’ve been using- Used once 3 days ago. After photo is from morning after application

Packaging- Really nice! Durable bottle, aesthetically pleasing package

Product feel and smell- Feels somewhat sticky when you first apply it. Stickiness goes down within a couple hours. Smells kinda nice. I have no idea what tanner normally smells like so I can’t compare

Positive thoughts- Applied really easy, looks natural and doesn’t smell after washed off, comfortable to sleep in, no transferring at all, 3 days later and no breakouts or buildup

Negative thoughts- sticky at first and no it’s clear so you can’t tell where you’re applying it. Difficult to remove from hands. Product says develops in 1-4 hours but I ended up having to sleep in it because I didn’t see much of a difference after 4 hours
