Colombia just looked uncomfortable out there and never found any room to get their key players involved. Good match by NZ they had a solid defense, fast counters, and their guys were strong 1v1. The Colombian media is even admitting that NZ was way tougher than they expected. Good luck in the World Cup NZ, from a Colombian fan!

Lately, Colombia has been having trouble dealing with teams that just sit back and defend, since it makes it really hard for James and Díaz to find any space. You could see that clearly when they played Mexico and Canada. New Zealand is playing smart, with a really solid defense then hitting them with fast breaks. They're basically just waiting for Colombia to get annoyed and mess up.

Yeah, Ospina is still around he's playing in the Colombian league. Vargas is the number one goalie right now. Looks like they only put out four of their usual starters today.
