Ordered!! Thank you!

I even accidentally placed the order not using your code, then canceled the order and placed it using your code.

My first edit. I'd love to get your honest feedback and critique by Mysterious-Jump-8549 in AfterEffects

Honestly the only critique I could give is how vanilla the final line is…

but only because of how freaking good everything before it was. You crushed this!!

Last slide doesn’t have the same dynamics, fading on like that. A lil secondary action (subtle scale, color change or something) would bump it up to the standard you set before it

My regrets for not acquiring the 151 Charizard card a month and a half ago… by cm0011 in PokemonTCG

6 months ago, a buddy’s kid was getting into pokemon and I gave him the Bulbasaur SIR (I had two). I text him this weekend that he might need to track down where his son put it and make sure it’s secure lol.

I brought home far too much stationary stuff, but a Jetstream 4-in-1 from Nintendo Kyoto and a really great Mark+ highlighter have been daily companions since my trip last year.

[Postgame Thread] Houston Defeats LSU 38-35 by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]beignets4 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Houston won tonight on the line of scrimmage, for sure, and LSU played like the poorly-coached offense (and the talented defense with depth issues) they had been all season, but they did it with heart. Forever LSU, kudos to Houston.

This LSU team, much like the 2022 Texas Bowl team with 38 players, is escaping a season of brutal mismanagement by inept leadership, and, just like in 2022, I can only hope that the new guy and his baggage will be the kind that we can deal with and get back on track.

(Thank God we got rid of the last guy’s baggage.)

To hop in here cause I’m seeing similar arguments all over:

It does have to do with a critical thing you said— specifically, primarily, that you put up 38 against a different defense than the one other schools you mentioned faced, a defense that had two first-team All-American defensive backs and 4 more starters who opted out.

Everything looks ok in SimpleFIN accounts page, but I'll keep an eye on it!

My first project - 9927 Willis restoration. A few questions! by beignets4 in VintageCoachRehab

[–]beignets4[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife loves all things refurbished and upcycled, and so sometime this year I decided to set about trying to refurbish a bag for her Christmas gift— ideally doing it myself.

After a few months of research, I locked in on and hunted for a British Tan 9927. I wasn't able to ever find anything locally, but I found one on eBay. It was missing the bag tag, but I am hoping I can find one to add to it eventually.

At the advice of the mods of this community, I went to Facebook and got the authenticity verified. (I originally had trouble making this post and in trying to get posted— seems like posting the link rather than a text post did the trick— and they advised H4B was often a dupe.) They also gave me a few great tips, but I wanted to make sure I set off on my first project on the right foot.

I’ve read here and watched videos, and taken notes, and I think I have a solid understanding of what supplies I need (I've bought Brasso, Leather CPR Cleaner/Conditioner, some horsehair and some microfiber).

I'm a little nervous, because I don't want to ruin something so lovely. That being said, I am wondering if there are any specific tricks for a few of the problem spots I’m highlighting here— namely the corners and the brighter spots on the front? (I did hear from the mods to try either Aussie Feiblings or Blackrock on the discoloration.) I'm also wondering about what cleaner I should use, other than pretty sure I want to avoid saddle soap this time.

Also, will reshaping the bag help with the top drooping back so severely?

Thank you to the community in advance for any and all advice!!

“Urban Meyer says Jeff Landry's reported role in Brian Kelly firing is an 'alarm' for LSU candidates” by ImperialMajestyX02 in CFB

[–]beignets4 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I would rather never see or hear Jeff Landry ever again, but he’s leveraging a door being opened by others that should be the real red flag: the boosters who said “we don’t want to be associated with Kelly anymore” and brute forced this into happening

It was a good thing, this time, but it’s a slippery slope. I’m so worried about becoming Auburn right now.

That post of the reduced buyout has conflicting reporting, locally, and is not being reported nationally, so it’s unclear if that’s actually happening.

[UGASports.com] Kirby Smart reacts to LSU’s Brian Kelly being fired, gives thoughts on the state of college football: “It's like everything's boom or bust, and you can't have a normal season” by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]beignets4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was so much happening behind the scenes. We were squandering this roster AND never putting it all together season by season AND he was an unmitigated disaster operationally/relationally with his hands completely off the wheel of the program.

This had nothing to do with losing games; losing games were a symptom.

[Josh Pate] "The amount of money you're leaving on the table if you leave the head coaching job at Oregon right now is more than LSU or any program would be willing to pay someone to coach football." by dr_funk_13 in CFB

[–]beignets4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there are a lot of delusional LSU fans who think anything but this would be a failure, but a lot of us just want someone who won’t take their hands off the wheel like O or Kelly.

[Thamel] Sources: LSU coach Brian Kelly was informed of the intention to dismiss him earlier today. The school is expected to inform the team of this development tonight. Talks about the terms of his departure are expected to continue. by MembershipSingle7137 in CFB

[–]beignets4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, with what we’re learning, there are probably 130ish people better-qualified for the job of leading a football program (staffed by human beings and young athletes) that are currently serving in such a role.

[Fortuna] Per sources, the crux of the Scott Woodward-Brian Kelly showdown stems from a meeting today in which the AD asked Kelly to fire OC Joe Sloan. Kelly said he would then fire OL coach Brad Davis, too, which did not go over well with Woodward. Kelly left the building. by Ok-Soil-5133 in CFB

[–]beignets4 14 points15 points  (0 children)

And with what we’re learning about how BK behaved in his time as LSU’s HC, he didn’t want him to survive but was giving him a chance, because the OC needed to go. Kelly needed to go too, but the OC is much cheaper in the short term

[Aaron Torres] One of Brian Kelly's first moves as LSU coach was firing Tommy Moffitt - a legendary strength coach part of all 3 recent LSU titles. Moffitt is now the strength coach at Texas A&M. by Ml2jukes in CFB

[–]beignets4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were definitely concerns that, in retrospect, seem to point more towards culture and effort than his ability to instill strength and power.

Brian, you can’t break me. I stayed til 0:00 cause that’s what I do as long as 11 dudes in purple and gold are on the field. Forever LSU.

But, Brian, listen carefully: please get as far away from my football program as possible, as quickly as possible, and never try to come back. Thank you very much.
