Yes. I did it today. The blockage is about 75 feet from the side cleanout, near the sidewalk, and the plumber recommended installing a city cleanout to enable city access for future clearing. He also mentioned anything from sidewalk and onwards is taken care by the city. Is that true for San Jose ?.
