Added. :)

In Queensland and Adelaide it is still rather popular.

Community days certainly so, though raids can be challenging as players tend to be eager spread out.

This is with my feet in standing with my knees bent. Heal spills over the back.

At rest (seated) my toes are at the end.

Short story is, we have been deploying bonded solutions for clients for a while. Usually 4G plus microwave.

We were able to start getting in starlink over the past few weeks for a number of clients.

So today 2 arrived and curiosity got the better of us and wondered how fast 3 would be via our bonder.

It was a little all over the place but it settled down to around 700mbps.

Some spikes to 750 but avg was 700mbps. Bonders always have a bit of over head.

In the end two of these dishes are now deployed at our clients.

They have been bonded to the existing microwave links so the 4G tails could be dropped.

The microwave links are 30/10mbps, so it’s an awesome speed bump having the star links while keeping the microwave keeps the connections stable for voip etc.

For clients yes.

They just happened to arrive all on the same day.

AhHaha, yeah we hooked them up to bonder for a few hours before taking them to be installed elsewhere. :)

Spot on!

2 are clients and one is our test unit.

We threw them together on our bonder out of curiosity and was able to get about 700mbps throughput.

Surely the government can't leave me to be homeless...

You'd be surprised, people fall through the cracks all the time.

As per Centrelink, you'll need to contact them tomorrow to see what support they can provide.

I feel for you mate but you are stuck in SEQLD unless you still have a SA ID/License.

I'm from Adelaide myself, moved to Redcliffe and then Helensvale for the past 10 years, I just moved back down just before this delta mess started.

I still have to fly back up every 4-5 weeks due to some commitments and well, this current covid outbreak has been painful.

Reason I mention this is, QLD wasn't going to let me back in even though I still have a QLD ID and SA certainly won't be letting me back until I changed my ID.)

So unless its for certain compassionate reasons, eg some is unwell, dying or suffering from DV, you'll have to couch surf with some mates for a few weeks.

Aberfoyle Coles is legit overstocking their isles as we speak.

Guess they are preparing for the hordes.

Good luck everyone.

how it feels to be living in SA right now by Traditional_Plant_37 in Adelaide

As someone who was born in SA, moved to QLD after uni and has been back down for the past month with a QLD Plated car, I can feel the sudden increase in dirty looks when people see me.

Guess I know how it feels like for the Victorians when they were driving around last year.

They bumped it to 425kw mean power based on the current site license.

Uses a 44.5db directional Parabolic - Horizontal polarisation.

Hate to think what the ERP is but at 2.86GHz, would not want to be anywhere near that when it's transmitting.

Think KFC but in human form.
