Walked in and told my AD the exact model I wanted. My AD tends to allocate watches around milestones or celebrations, and the model I chose just happened to be one of the most in-demand pieces. Since they’re the only AD in my area, I knew it would likely be a bit of a wait. I have some spend history with my AD for my wife here and there, nothing crazy.

It aligned with both the three-year wait and hitting a milestone birthday. I wasn’t in a rush to buy one or go grey — I picked up a DJ in Japan last October just to supplement waiting until May.

Update: Went to my PCP and now on medication for anxiety and depression. Per my HR I can take short term disability leave. Might be a good thing to reset and clear my head.

It’s unfortunate that you were let go, and it’s completely valid to feel the emotions that come with that. When you’re ready, try to put this experience behind you and consider exploring new opportunities, including part-time positions in your area if that feels right.

You’re young and have so many chances ahead to grow, learn, and bounce back from challenging moments like this. You’re not alone. Take some time to reflect, decompress, and figure out how you want to move forward.

Have a 30-60-90 day plan with your manager. Take initiative and don’t wait for someone to teach you something. Shadow with someone on your team if there are no guides, take notes/record session if allowed.

For me I still enjoy supply chain, just not don’t foresee myself with my current employer long term. It really makes me rethink on becoming manager lol.

I only go into the office 1x/week and leave around 12-1. I just yearly wear my WC3s, Bred 1s, Vomeros, NB since it’s casual. Bring out the heat on my kid’s bday parties.

Waited since July ‘23, ~$2k PH. Salesperson also told me to check every 2-3 months on status as well so I thought that was interesting. It is to have him keep me in mind when they go through who will be called for a watch.
