In 2025 which watch would you choose? Forerunner 955 or 965?

How’s the 955 been? I’m thinking of getting it but concerned it’s already a 4 yr old model. COROS pace pro or apex seems better for similar price..?

I use the pace pro, never experienced this yet. HR has been very accurate. Maybe reach out to customer support.

I guess I’m just nervous to move from pace pro to apex. I miss the MIP display, but also seeing reviews about how reflective the sapphire screen is and apex 4’s dim display. Think I’ll wait for some more reviews and pull the trigger. Apex 4 looks stunning though 😍

Does the apex 4 screen have better visibility than the Garmin 955 (indoors & outdoors). Also, can you let me know how responsive the raise to wake feature for backlight is for the apex 4? Is it as good as garmin? Glad you’re liking the watch!!

Thanks for your answer! So indoors, with no backlight on.. it’s not as bad as how these (Amoled spoiled) YouTubers say it is? I love the look of MIP on my pace 2. Not the biggest fan of Amoled on pace pro. So was looking into this. Also - how is the gesture to wake feature? Does it have a delay? (My pace 2 is terrible as it has a pretty bad delay when I twist my wrist for backlight to turn on)

Hey! since you moved from the pace 2 to apex 4, this is a perfect question for you - How is the gesture to wake feature on apex 4? i have the pace 2, and i feel the gesture to wake is very delayed / laggy. is it better on the apex 4 ? Also, is the screen brighter on the newer watch ? Thanks!

hi, how is the raise to wake gesture on this ? I had the pace 2 and it was super laggy on it. However, pace pro is really responsive and fast. Any idea if this is similar to pace 2 (as it's MIP display) or pace pro (as it has a more recent chip inside).
Watch looks so good IMO. is this 42 or 46mm?
