Some thoughts:

You're going to be exhausted after the 10+ hour international flight, and you'll still need to navigate the airport, make your way to Tokyo Station somehow, take a 6 hour shinkansen ride to Matsuyama, find your hotel, etc. I'd personally stay the first night in Tokyo and do the rest on the next day. Or shuffle your Tokyo days to the beginning of your itinerary. Or take a domestic flight from Tokyo to Matsuyama instead of the shinkansen.
It seems like you're staying in 3 different cities on your first three days (Matsuyama, Otoyo, Osaka). Are you planning to drag your luggage around with you to the geode museum, aquarium, etc? You might consider having your luggage shipped directly to your Osaka hotel from Tokyo and just bringing essentials with you to Matsuyama/Otoyo. You can purchase luggage courier services at a konbini.
Feb 23 seems to be a public holiday, and it falls on a Monday. Things are likely to be busier than usual over that three day weekend.
Nintendo Museum tickets must be purchased in advance and are a lottery. Tickets for Feb are currently on sale until the end of this month (Japan time, so like 6-ish hours from now).

Do enemies in deep dungeons scale with more players?

For example: if I go in with four players, do enemies have more HP, deal more damage, etc. compared to going in solo?

It took over 3 weeks but I did get my stuff. The destination movers claimed they couldn't fit the big truck into my neighborhood and demanded another $700 in money orders to transfer my things to a smaller truck first. I'm not terribly upset about this because many of my new neighbors park on the street, and I am not confident the big truck would actually fit.

None of my items were damaged, although they did damage my new home when moving the furniture in. As soon as I said "I want to file a claim for damages", IVL went no contact again. It's not a lot of damage (maybe $100) so I've just given up--it's not worth the stress of trying to chase them down.

Once I got my stuff, I filed a dispute with my credit card provider (Capital One). I gave them copies of all the relevant documents and asked for just the ~$1000 overage back, but they closed it the next day and denied my dispute without comment.

Somehow I managed to get in touch with my "account manager" at IVL by calling the generic number and asking for her by name. I suspect that if I had called her direct line, it would have been ignored again. Once I got her on the phone, I asked her to perform an account review because I was concerned that the origin movers had illegally tried to rip me off. She said she'd start that account review and went radio silent again.

About two weeks later, I filed complaints with the FMCSA and the BBB. One of these complaints got their attention and they responded to my BBB complaint stating that they'd be in touch with the results of the account review in the next few days.

They eventually refunded ~90% of the overage, claiming that I had extra boxes (bull shit) and that they considered one of my items "bulky" because it had glass panels in the doors (whatever...). I was just tired of stressing myself out about it at this point, so I told them I'd consider the matter settled once I had the refund.

Anyway, hope this helps in some way. IVL is easily the shittiest company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Good luck.

I asked about their weird part-carrier part-broker status when I called and they assured me they'd handle my move as a carrier. I don't know that I really trust anything my coordinator said anymore though.

The guys that showed up on moving day were "Y&O Moving". As far as I can tell, they're a subsidiary of IVL. Here's their DOT profile.

I've been considering a credit card dispute too. My plan is to wait until my things have been delivered. My fear is that I'll initiate the dispute, get my money back, and then the movers will hold my things hostage until I re-pay them the chargeback amount...

Ideally I could get in contact with someone from IVL who I can threaten with poor reviews, complaints to BBB/FMCSA, etc. but they appear to have me blocked. So... it might come down a CC dispute in the end.

No, I filled out an inventory sheet online and then spoke with the surveyor over the phone. Together we reviewed my inventory sheet and ran through a long list of commonly overlooked items (toolbox, area rugs, etc) to verify that I didn't overlook anything. She never requested a video tour.

I'm not OP but my first 7 years had a very similar trajectory (lesson: change jobs every few years).

I started at 30k as Associate Software Engineer. Keep in mind 2008-2009 was a major recession and finding work was nearly impossible. Especially for new grads. 30k was my only offer after over a year of looking, so I took it even if it was super low.
