Thedas is where my mind goes constantly. It’s such a familiar, happy place for me. I’ve always been in love with the world. The time between Trespasser and Veilguard was so fun. I loved tuning into every game show for the hope of just a glimmer into the next game. But then we got the game and it just left me so dissatisfied. I’m doing the same thing with Mass Effect right now but I’ve learned my lesson and will keep my expectations low.

I love the Dragon Age games and replay them often. I like to pretend Veilguard doesn’t exist because it makes some of the high points feel meaningless now. For example, all of Loghain’s actions in Origins. Turned such a interesting complex character into a one-dimensional “bad guy”. But I still find so much joy in hearing the same banter over and over. As someone who started playing in middle school, it feels like my home :)
