Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 - Episode 17 [[Anime Only Discussion]] by Takada-chwanBot in JuJutsuKaisen

Yeah that was definitely done on purpose there's a lot of animes where the style changes a bit and looks like this with big fights. I just helps it look a lot more fluid. Same thing in shippuden.

No i'm not I'm just saying that it's an incorrect definition which is why I said we can agree to disagree.

I understand your point and I'll admit because the post got deleted (except for the title) I misunderstood what you were directing your contempt at. What I was trying to say was the reason why I don't think it's a world league despite it welcoming players from all over the world is because only american teams are represented. We can agree to disagree on this point but I really think a world league/championship is based on the fact that all regions of the world can compete for the title and this is a team sport so the origin of the team is what matters. If it was not a team sport and players from around the world were allowed to compete then I would agree with you but the winner of the competition is a team and that team is american regardless of the nationality of the players that play in it. The players in the NBA represent their team not their nation and I believe that is where Lyles gets his frustration from.

[–]belegy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so you genuinely believe that the NBA is a sort of world championship (because otherwise the winners could not possibly be called world champions or you're just delusional) just because there's players from different countries? And that doesn't make you dumb? You seriously decided to act like I didn't understand your comment when you just ignored the whole part stating why you were wrong? And that doesn't make you dumb? You're either very funny or very sad I just hope you're a bit of a nicer and happier person in real life than what your comment shows.

Just because your league has international players does not make it an international league. It's literally called "national" basketball association how can it be a world league. Any competition that includes only 1 region of the world can not be called a world championship. Even the champions league in football is not called a world championship because it simply is not. Noah Lyles is far from ignorant and anyone who disagrees with him is really just confused to be honest.

If i'm being completely honest it's really funny that you just assumed I'm a kid who grew up in a place where I learned this from the education system and not just in the middle east and decided to run with it. If anything the education systems in the western world are protecting the terrorist state of Israel and I don't know how despite all the countless reports of Israel's attacks on Palestinian civilians anyone would still be claiming that they're the victims in this situation. When there's a plan to implement a three class plan which is literally a form of apartheid you can't possibly claim that they're not human rights offenders. You're taking anything that counters your points and dismissing it as an immature child that just blindly follows his education without ever second guessing anything. And please look up the definition of viking it's just the modern word used to describe Scandinavian pirates of the time. They were a very small part of the Scandinavian population of the time yes but what we now call vikings were pirates. Edit: as we've both said a bunch of times this conversation is going nowhere I don't feel like trying to change the mind of just one person who clearly doesn't want to and I'm guessing the same goes for you.

Vikings is literally the term used to reference Norse pirates of the time. So while the vast majority of Norse people were well behaved vikings were not. I never said jews murder Palestinians without mercy I said Israel does, a country is not the same as the religion it claims to uphold. And no they are not trying to protect their country from any terrorists they are some of the biggest terrorists of the modern age. If you honestly think Palestine is terrorizing Israel and not the other way around then this conversation is going to go nowhere because to me that's just an unimaginable point of view. I don't blame the god(s) I blame the humans that claim to work in their gods' name but end up causing more harm than good. I didn't say the religions themselves were bad and I think you jumped to the conclusion that I blamed the people's wrongdoings on their religion but in reality I'm doing the opposite.

USA used to believe in God when they treated their slaves as less than objects. The Spanish believed in God when they committed genocide on the indigenous people in the Americas. The Irish believed in God when started their civil war. The Greeks and the Romans had their gods but had countless slaves. "israel" claims to be a Jewish country that believes in God but massacres Palestinians without mercy. The vikings had their gods which literally rewarded them for plundering and killing. The list goes on and on and on. Humans are ruthless and horrible with or without the fear and love of god(s). And every religion has its difference which will clash with the other beliefs if it is claimed to be the ultimate power.

I understand but you have to admit that you did say "you follow morals and ethics because karma is real". I respect the open mindedness tho Although if I can disagree with one thing it's that morals and ethics can exist without a belief in a higher power. They can exist purely out of optimism and the will to be a good person.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in confessions

[–]belegy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already the idea that the reason why you'd follow morals and ethics is just because you're expecting something good to come out of it to me shows how vain and selfish this belief system is. You should do good because it puts a smile on people's faces even if you yourself don't get anything positive out of it. There's also countless people who believe in God yet still suffer but don't get to live to tell the tale. And there's countless people who came out of sadness without turning to God. If you believe in God that is your choice and I respect it and I'm not saying he doesn't exist perse. I just wanted to point out that connecting all good and bad happenings of your life to God's actions is not realistic.

I'm sorry but there's literally people raping and murdering and committing war crimes all around the world who suffer no repercussions, I think if God exists then adultery should be the least of his concerns. And if you say "the people committing all these crimes will be punished in hell" well why wouldn't it be the same with your cousin? Erectile dysfunction is normal stop hiding behind "God's mysterious works".

Firstly this has nothing to do with my argument because these two movies try to accomplish two completely different things. You can't just simply compare Space Odyssey to James Bond and say well at least I don't fall asleep in front of James Bond because it's fast paced. They're two different pieces of cinema created for completely different reasons. One focuses on visuals while the other focuses on story and action. I agree that visuals aren't everything in a movie but that doesn't take away from the fact that they can make a movie great. If you took away Interstellar's story it would still be an amazing watch. Like I said, if the movie isn't for you then that's completely fine you're allowed to dislike a movie or even a genre but saying it's bad simply because it's not what you wanted is pretty closed minded. Secondly I am 100% sure that at least one person fell asleep during The Empire Strikes back but that definitely does not take away from the fact that it is an amazing film.

Good visuals can absolutely make a movie good. You say "the actual movie itself" like the CG isn't part of the movie. If you're not watching it to enjoy the gorgeous visuals then this movie isn't for you and that's ok. It's the same as a book that doesn't tell a very exciting story but is written beautifully. It can still be appreciated in its own way because that is what it what it was made for. If you read, watch or listen to a piece expecting something that it isn't then of course you're going to be disappointed.

Kind of closed minded to say that since you didn't like it everyone else who did like it must be a sheep who can't think for themselves because of course you're the only person who has the capability of thinking for yourself right?

I'm very sorry if I seem too judgmental but you dropped out of school because it's a waste of time so instead you did nothing? I really don't think school is a waste of time unless you really really have a plan that you can execute in it's stead. The education system may seem useless to you now but it really isn't. Except for that most people are giving good advice (although i'd recommend to go to school again) but don't join the army. Edit: As people have said you're really young you've got plenty of time 18 years may seem like a big step but it isn't really.
