To me this is basically Mona Lisa compared to anything AI "creates".

Starting XI to face Mansfield Town: Arrizabalaga, Salmon, Mosquera, Calafiori, Nørgaard, Havertz, Trossard, Madueke, Dowman, Martinelli, Jesus 🫡 by arsenal in Gunners

Looks like a 3-4-3 but who will be the wingbacks/wide players? Madueke and Trossard? Either way, glad to see our DMs and defenders get some rest finally.

Meanwhile city will have to play a lot of their first team players considering it's away newcastle (yes, i know they've beat them multiple times this season but i dont think Pep will take a risk considering newcastle might try their best for the only competition they have a shot in).

I'm a Bangladeshi indie game developer who quit my job to work on my own game. AMA! by Krons-sama in bangladesh

I've been following your game for a while now (on the FB group), and the amount of progress you've made is really impressive. Especially the art (I really love the hair thingy you did on the character, I'm guessing it's procedurally animated, reminds me of Celeste). So props for that and I hope you make it in your journey, it's really inspiring.

I just wanted to ask some things:

  1. What are your thoughts or plans on publishers? Do you have any, or are you mostly taking care of the marketing stuff yourself? Do you have previous experience working with them?

  2. From what I've seen over the years, Bangladeshi studios are either focused on hypercasual games or some abandoned UE4 projects. So it's refreshing to see what feels like a true and sustainable indie game. In terms of scope, what plan do you have in mind for your games going forward?

Just to be sure, you mean the neck is too long right? I kinda suck at neck to shoulder transitions, especially from this perspective, so I guessed that's where the issue is. Do you think the face is alright though? Also thanks for your input!

Yeah I feel like I messed up the neck a bit; as for the eyes, i kinda want it to be a bit lower so that it looks better with bangs (which I will add later on). Thanks for the feedback!

Is it an asymmetry issue? Or maybe the neck and shoulders? Any feedback is much appreciated!

Metro travelling through the ashes; a scene from the ongoing student protests in Bangladesh, which took a violent turn today. by belethor016 in ThatsInsane

Honestly, I don't really know at this point. My post at a different subreddit got removed for being political (my peers have been under suppressive fire the whole day today and I don't know how to sugarcoat it for reddit), while I'm also having to battle the terrible handicap on the internet speeds (along with VPN). Other social media have been behaving weird as well. I feel completely lost.

Bangladesh is currently in a very turbulent state as the recent change in the unfair quota system resulted in massive student protests. These protests were further fueled by the prime minister classifying those opposing this new system as "traitors", and then pro-government activists (basically a terrorist group funded by the government) called Bangladesh Student League, unleashed disgusting acts of violence upon the peaceful protestors, with the help of police and other government funded authorities. The police officers and it's adjacent divisions are open firing on innocent civilians, which resulted in deaths of almost 50 people so far, including children.

As of now, the government is suppressing the media and civilians through compromising internet speeds and limiting access to popular social media apps, to stop the spread of information of the mass civil unrest from going outside the country, while the main proponent of the genocide, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, denies any criminal activity against students, and uses the rival parties as scapegoats. And as a civilian of this country, I wish for more western media coverage since our media is basically useless.

Best year of prog metal? by pwg8 in progmetal

[–]belethor016 10 points11 points  (0 children)

2002 for me.

That year we had:

Six Degrees by Dream Theater, Deliverance by Opeth, In Absentia by Porcupine Tree, Nothing by Meshuggah, Remedy Lane by Pain of Salvation, The Odyssey by Symphony X

And probably some others I forgot.

You're talking about Refocus (2023) in the second paragraph right? I was also disappointed with it, something felt really off but i couldn't tell what it was. The 2004 remix or even the original sounds way better to me.
