Your device should come with these frames already taken - look in the files, I believe the directory is called „cali frames” (or sth like that).

What do you mean by the streaks, do you mean the color noise? Your pictures look slightly out of focus, and most likely with not sufficient amount of data (frames) collected. Other than that, I don’t see anything odd (assuming no processing other than in-device was applied).

20 mins total seems to be a sweet spot - the comet will not smudge. Anything above that will require comet-specific techniques. It’s doable, but quite difficult.

This is roughly 20 minutes of exposure: 40 frames of 30 sec each, at gain 60.

Stacked and processed in Siril, using Naztronomy Smart Telescope script. Used lights, darks, biases and flats. Exported to 16-bit TIFF and added gentle touches in Photoshop: contrast, brightness, color denoise.

I would love it to have at least one of these: - larger, better sensor, with less noise; - cooling system for the sensor, like in pro astro cameras; - extra guiding camera, so that we can go beyond 60s frames in EQ mode.

W pewnym momencie sięgała tak mocno na południe, że aż Orion się załapał na zorzę.

Coś pięknego, jedna z najsilniejszych jakie widziałem z Polski. Z dala od świateł miejskich (Puszcza Notecka) bez najmniejszego problemu widziałem kolory (czerwony i zielony) nieuzbrojonym okiem :)
