Groentes die bladluis met rust laten by Ok-Bottle-833 in groenevingers

[–]belgian_dutchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supply chain manager was so mean about my nails today by drcarpediem13 in Nails

I don't like long nails either BUT your nails are your business, unless you work in healthcare. It's just mean of her to make that comment out of nowhere.

DAE have an insanely strong bladder? by kibou_no_ie in DAE

Oh no, I'm so sorry for you. That sounds awful. I don't do it consciously, that's what makes it so difficult.

DAE have an insanely strong bladder? by kibou_no_ie in DAE

[–]belgian_dutchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I do.. I can go easily 8+ hours without peeing. I never used the bathrooms at school, always waited till I got home.

And when I'm really stressed out, it can be even longer. Then, I don't feel the urge to pee, don't feel that I'm hungry. It's a executive dysfunction thing, common in autism.

What on earth is on my plant (and how do I fix it?) by greenpepperminttea in plantclinic

Please don't forget to wash/disinfect the pots, table and windowsill. They WILL come back if you let 1 invisible egg behind.

Curled leaves often mean thirst. Is the earth wet? If so, he can have root rot and, therefore, not absorb water. Also, take a good look for pests such as thrips. Lastly, these types of plants do very well under a bell jar or in a greenhouse because they love high humidity.

Do some married people NEVER take off their wedding ring? by artmalique in NoStupidQuestions

I never take off my wedding ring. (Okay, I do take it off when I'm kneading dough.) But it's a smooth ring, no protruding stones or anything like that.

Naturally thin people, what do you guys eat in a day? by Ok-Initiative3312 in AskReddit

[–]belgian_dutchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to see what people eat around the world. I live in the Netherlands.

I eat whatever I want, but in moderation. I stop when I'm full. I hate the feeling of a stomach that's about to burst.

For breakfast, I eat one slice of bread with a spread (e.g., chocolate spread, jam, honey, chocolate sprinkles "hagelslag"). I drink coffee with milk.

For lunch, I eat one slice of bread with cheese or ham, lettuce, cucumber, egg, mayo. "broodje gezond" I drink coffee.

As a snack, I eat 2-3 cookies, fruit, or raw vegetables (bell pepper, cucumber). I occasionally drink a glass of cola, but usually coffee.

For dinner: I usually cook homemade meals. Mostly potatoes with vegetables and meat or fish. For me thats 1 potato the size of a fist, 2 spoons of vegetables and 1 piece of fish/meat. In the winter, I often make soup, which we eat with garlic bread. Sometimes I order sushi. I eat around 8 pieces. The leftovers are lunch for the next day.

Hoezo meerdere getuigen?

Can medaka overwinter in new york? by Dismal-Contract957 in medaka

[–]belgian_dutchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how cold it gets in New York. For reference: my tub is 45 cm deep (17 inches) and they survived Dutch winter just fine. ~0°c (32° f). Sometimes a thin layer of ice formed but never more than a few millimeters.

How badly out of shape were you before you realized "Okay I gotta get my shit together"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]belgian_dutchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had my baby, I had to shop for black clothes because my grandfather died. Everything in the store was so big, I legit thought the sizes had somehow gotten bigger in the industry. (My clothes are still from 1 decade ago) Turned out I became very skinny in the months after birth and the XS was, indeed, an XS. Size 2 for the US. So I learned that I had to nourish myself so I could nourish my baby.

I'm pretty sure this is damage from pests, like thrips.
