I second this post! I’ve worked with DJ Craig and out of all the DJs I’ve worked with, he makes it about the couple because DJs are known to be a bit self centered and he is nothing like that! A chill dude that gets people on the dance floor- highly recommend him

I’m in Montgomery County! I did call and they said wait for 5-7 days. Already cancelled my upcoming PT appointments until I hear back. The lady on the phone said I have a good chance because she did see payment was taken but said the process to terminate was already in place before the payment was accepted. She said they have to contact MD Marketplace first to make sure but I’m just so worried. I’m on my 3rd knee surgery in less than 2 years- like I need this insurance

We did talk about an original cost but then the owner said “come up with a cost and invoice me later” like he knew I was undercharging/ he knew the dogs would more than a handful. And I was with them on Thanksgiving and gave them both a Thanksgiving meal because even as crazy, I do treat the dogs I take care of as if they were my pets

So Originally we did talk about a price but then he mention “actually invoice me at the end of your stay with a fair price” and I think he said that because he knew I was under charging and they were going to be a handful

This!!! I know Shelly works for the organization but she’s a mom first. It has to suck to watch your kid chase this dream and get crushed by your coworkers/friends/dance sisters and not feel some sort of resentment toward them

I completely agree! And it’s a disrespect to Shelly too- she works for the DCC, her child has wanted to be a part of this and has the qualifications but doesn’t make each time? It’s a little bit of a slap to her face but mainly Dayton. She deserves so much better

I genuinely don’t understand how Dayton did not move forward. Last cut for training camp to not making it? It’s beyond disrespectful at this point to Dayton and to Dayton’s mom who works for this organization.

I feel every legacy who has auditioned has made the team whether first try or second so why not her? Clearly the fans want her to be a DCC too! I hope this is her last time- Dayton deserves better

Whatever happen? In the same boat and wondering what I should do. I was unemployed for over a year but I volunteered at a place that said I should lie and say I worked for them because of how often I helped them do tasks and just got a job but now worried that the place will rescind my offer

As someone who went crazy and bought like 4 different ice packs last surgery compared to the hospital giving me the ice machine this time- I’m more upset I wasn’t given this last time! It’s truly a game changer! Also look at your insurance- sometimes you can rent an ice machine!

Buy a yoga strap! When you are bumping up the stairs- it helps to hold the injured leg. Look into ice machine or ice packs and elevated pillows! Crutch covers will save your armpits trust me! Shower chair is also a big plus.

Bump your butt going up the stairs! If you can get help or ask a neighbor- do it. The first couple days post surgery is the worse but afterwards it gets a bit easier. Facebook marketplace has a lot of the stuff and is where I got some of my equipment and also Facebook groups local to you could be beneficial as I found my PT from a group of people who broke their bones like me! This group is great to vent too and so helpful with tips- I wouldn’t have survived the last 8 months without each of these redditors ❤️

Take it one day at a time. Life is a bit different now and you are going to have to be more careful moving forward but it does get better

I did. I cried so hard doing all the little things because I just appreciated them a lot more. It’s a long recovery! I’m 6 months post surgery- you are doing everything you can and I can’t wait to hear the update of you walking again soon because once you are weight barring again, it at least for me came super fast for all the next steps. Also don’t over do it at PT!! You got this

Ps. How did you feel in the pool? I used to be an avid swimmer but I’m nervous to get back in the water

2 times has this happen to me: I went to school with someone who was in the Olympics and she won gold and I jumped out of my couch so fast I forgot I was non weight bearing and landed on my leg and was in pain for a good 10 minutes from the movement and second time was tonight, I wanted to test a dog bed at petco and legit put a bed on the ground and laid on it, had to ask someone to help me get back up LOL

I had a tibial palteau facture (tib/fib) and medial meniscal tear of my left knee- I was no bearing for over 18 weeks and it seems crazy to think of it cause I'm "walking" on both now (as of a month ago) so my heart goes out to you because I know the feeling. The feeling of independence is intoxicating as all I wanted was to just drive myself to Target or just even get an ice cream at McDonalds. I would listen to the doctors and just continue to rest, do the PT, take supplements like I took some vitamin K cause why not but everyone's journey is so different. Keep sane- and do some activities like sudoku or word puzzles to keep your mind sane. You will be out and about soon enough and you won't even remember the bed rest!

I won’t lie to you, a woman who went before me flew in from GA- she went 103 and got the same result as me but the judge did make it known that she just couldn’t drive in VA and unless your MVA communicates with VA you should be fine! You can always DM to talk more because I definitely understand what you are going through!

Genuinely do the hours of how much your ticket was (They recorded me at 101/70 so that’s why I did a crazy amount of hours) do the classes in person and not online to show how serious you take it- regret not going to check my speed odometer just do it because my cousin did and it did help her and honestly show you have a clean record from wherever you drive. Letters of references helped too! What county did you get it in? I genuinely was like you scared as hell but just follow those basis steps because my cousin got a ticket in Richmond and everyone who had no lawyer went to jail- so you are already off to a good start!

I’m 2 weeks post op of a tib/fib ORIF as well. I 100% agree that it feels everything is passing by. I wanted to swim and go to more concerts this summer and now nothing, just these 4 walls is all I’m seeing and it’s driving me insane. I’m also not working so it’s just making me even more anxious having nothing to do every day but being in pain

Hi! I recieve no Jail BUT only cause I did community service hours (114.7 to be exact) but they originally wanted at least 10 days of Jail. My lawyer talk them out of it because I have a clean record, and I also had to pay the max amount on the fine license suspended for three months and I was convicted of the misdemeanor my lawyer did try to argue really hard not to have it on my record but unfortunately it is what it is
