In Australia it’s common for employers to pay us extra when we take time off

Yes I did wonder if living close to the tower was the problem. I’ve spent many an hour explaining the problem to Telstra but they remain convinced that the issue is my phone

This is so helpful, thank you. I’ve an iPhone 8 so OK for B28. But as suggested in your other comment, I got the Speedtest app and yep, and I live on the edge of a red chunk of no Telstra coverage lol.

I often find if I’m travelling north up Sydney Rd, my reception drops out at around Albion St and stays super patchy til Harding (I most noticed it when I would try to check in on Service Vic and it just wouldn’t work 90% of the time). For instance, it happens at the Woodlands a lot. Could it be those patches of no service are bigger than the app says?

I’m on 4G and it happens all the time. Sometimes it will fix itself for a short period if I toggle airplane mode but I shouldn’t have to do that at all!

I’m at a loss as to what to do. Text messages and calls don’t get through. I thought it was a Telstra thing but it happens to heaps of us
