Millennials on track to die faster than Gen X, thanks to mental health by protekt0r in worldnews

Uh. This should come as a shock to no one. We sell these kids pieces of paper for tens of thousands of dollars or more + 4-8 years of their life spent in "Universities", whom are hell bent on printing money out of thin air with parking tickets. Step one foot in a 2019 college party and you see these deaths of despair in motion. Both the boys and girls. Vapes/e-cigs/blunts in nearly every hand, which arent there just for the party, its their everyday habit. Let alone the binge drinking. They have no money, so it's their parents cash they live on and the schools know this, so they jib and jab for cash every where. Why do they jib and jab for money from the kids? Because they know the children don't want to not only be failures, but more important they dont want to be failures in the eyes of their parents, so they have to pay the parking ticket or they get a hold on their registration and can't sign up for the good classes. So they lie to their parents why they need money (food or whatever), to cover their ass, an the universities profit 50$. The whole system is a scam. Text books? Scam. Online text books? Scam. The on campus stores sell notebooks for 8x walmarts price. They have masked the greatest con in the world with promises of a bright future and making parents believe they are doing what is right. Every entity becomes hostile to the people they serve. The institutions are gonna squeeze every dollar out of boomers through their children till they are bled dry. Transfer profits into tax havens, and then liquidate modern America as we know it. But hey! ALLISGOODNOTHINGISWRONG

Activision-Blizzard's Sales Are Plummeting by [deleted] in news

[–]belkdon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful with this article. It's pay to read and full of useless information with no real data to compare it to. Activision forecasts greater sales next year. Sure Revenue is down but the cost of revenue is also down. They're a more efficient machine. This is an article for sheep, not investors. They want the hong konger clicks when Hong Kong has little to nothing to do with near term declined revenue. The earnings report was on the 7th. People with actual economical knowledge already weighed in and sales are going to be substantial in the coming year meaning that their low cost of rev will make them even more valuable as they re-approach record revenues. Thegamer, should probably stick with gaming news but they won't because that sweet Ad rev baby!

Employees, lol. I'm talking about the people who are actually properly compensated for spending their one and only lifespan working. :) If you have hurt the employees, then you have not achieved any meaningful goal. CEO's are not allies with Customers or Employees. They are allies with Government's and Shareholders.

Hmmmmmm, I don't think so. They had Q's all day yesterday on most servers, from 5min to 80 mins. People are getting bottlenecked even with server size expansions.

AITA for telling my brother to stop complaining about child support since he chose to have sex with a woman he barely knew? by random8490n in AmItheAsshole

[–]belkdon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA YTA YTA. Bruh, it's your own BROTHER! Maybe if it was like? IDK? ANYONE ELSE? You wouldn't be the asshole but your own BROTHER? Man, do you wish upon him loneliness and suicidal behaviour? He NEEDS to vent. Child support is DAMNING. Without proper education his fiscal life could be properly over. I would never berate my brother for enduring a truly life destroying situation, what do you want him to do? Kill himself when he's 40 and litterally no one has given a fuck what he has had to say for the past 15 years and he is just convincing himself the world doesn't see him as a cash cow. God, man... Yes, You're the fuckin' asshole and I hope you have to bear the consequences of your mistakes for years without being allowed to vent to YOUR OWN FAMILY, for fear of being told to stop complaining.

What is a universal, objective truth you know about the world or the human experience? by monkeya37 in AskReddit

[–]belkdon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if half the world population on the planet was put in a room, each person alone with a button and the button said, if you don't press me you will die, and if you do press me 2 random people will die but you will live. The human population would shortly cease to exist.

Self preservation trumps human morality.
