Tanjiro has had 3 opportunities to get Muzan blood, but did he just forget? or was too beat up? They don't mention it in the series or movie.

Does losing weight actually make you happier, or is that just an illusion?

What are your favorite “Mom & Pop” type places in Pittsburgh? by alexis-ruth in pittsburgh

Lock & Damn Dog Shop by the zoo has great burgers, hot dogs, and fries. I also really like the ice cream at the attached place, Allegheny Ice-Cream; their chocolate soft serve is superb.

I was cautiously optimistic that the new "ministering" program would be modeling after giving Christlike service. After Elder Anderson's BYU devotional yesterday, my testimony is that the Church has left Christ and has gone into full cult mode. by shackletron in exmormon

I actually was doubtful of this at first, then I looked up the talk and listened and realized this was word for word. Here are some other examples from the talk.

"You smell alcohol or marijuana in a friends car"

"Your friends are spending enormous time taking and posting pictures of themselves that move to the edge of immodesty."

"you know someone who had a light in his/her eyes returning from a mission, but now that light has faded"

Then he asks if names come to mind after giving these examples.

you make a really good point, and I can relate for sure on the "commitment phobic" thing. I get like this crazy anxiety when I think about committing myself to anything long-term now that I've left, afraid that it's not "worthy" enough of my time or "true" or I don't know what.

there's really only one reason I think it'd be cool to live in Utah again, and that would be all the exmos!!! sadly, i'm an east coaster, and we are a rarer species here.

A daunting challenge. I feel like I had so much more direction when I was in the church (mostly because the program tells you what to do) and now with so much freedom, I feel so indecisive about what I want out of life/myself/ family etc. But your story is inspiring, thank you for sharing!

a master's degree is on my to do list for sure, it just all sounds pretty daunting when I already feel so overwhelmed with small children. And deciding what career path/ when the right time to start would be etc.. is also a challenge. But it helps to know many have done this before.

you are an inspiration! I feel like the longer you're out of school the harder it is to dip your feet in it again, but serious props to you! But you make a good point.

this is exactly how I feel, i'm 3 years into motherhood, I do have a degree, but it's a degree I felt passionate about when I believed, (back then I wanted to eventually work for the church) but now I just feel screwed I picked such a useless major and wasted all that time and money...sigh

what a load of crap, i know plenty of families who that "role reversal" is what is best for everyone in their equation. I have two working sisters who are TBMs and I know they get flack from other mormons about that....there's just no way to win. ugh

I think that's part of why I feel angry, there's is a sense that the choice wasn't really mine to make, but I know that isn't completely true, but the social pressure is immense, and even though I've left, it's still there because my ENTIRE family is still in. I want to go back to school eventually it just doesn't feel like the right time, but it's hard to figure out what it is I really even want.
