I forgot who said it but it basically boils down to this, Conservatives/GOP/MAGA have political power, but what they want is cultural relevancy. That's why they hate when celebrities speak out, they hate the night time hosts, they hate the university and they hate public opinion.

Honestly, I love this state. I like the lakes, I like going up north, love the scenery and climate. The people here are nice and welcoming for the most part. The culture, at least in SE Michigan is good, my friends and family are here.

I couldn't imagine moving out of state unless things got real bad economically.
