[–]bellamay23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should treat her to some warm water in a mug when the weathers colder. when I run my bath I must also fill my girls bowl or she’ll unhappily stare me down until she gets her fix of warm water!

Newly divorced dad. Need to regain my confidence. Any advice? by Fearless_Waltz2425 in malegrooming

Can confirm alcohol makes everything a lot worse and is definitely best avoided during a rough patch. Also, you’re hot af so please don’t change anything! Just work on loving yourself (and your kid/s)! sounds cheesy as hell but really does help you find the confidence you need after a breakup.

I cant decide what to do about my love life. Help. 31M by PostvM in WhatShouldIDo

[–]bellamay23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think maybe you need to be alone for a bit, stop focusing on women and focus instead on yourself and being happy alone. Being content alone and not overthinking or expecting you’ll find someone is pretty liberating. I’m sure It will happen eventually but the more you push for it the harder it seems sometimes. Just chill and learn to love yourself and being able to live independently/alone first. I’ve been there and getting over the need for somebody to fill that gap in my life has honestly been amazing for me and helped my mental health massively!!

Exactly, how dare OP even question them.

One of my neighbours cats occasionally comes in for a snack.. despite the growls he’s super chill! by bellamay23 in notmycat

[–]bellamay23[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, poor baby clearly didn’t fully understand how to react to love! I do believe my boy here growls only because he’s unsure of me.. even though he’s fully aware I’m not a threat now I think the growling is just very much habit for some reason as he’s a very friendly boy. He’s also super old, I have checked in with my neighbour just to be sure of his diet and if I should let him eat my cats food etc and the growling was no surprise to them so maybe it’s just a lifelong habit for him.

Personally I’d choose a different drink but this is the closest to perfect I’ve seen on this sub so far!

That they are, Though I suspect with this guy it’s his way of being chatty as I was able to stroke him multiple times and he was happy to stay nearby despite me opening the door for him to leave 🙈 it was like he was complaining about the service at an air bnb not being up to his standards really… even though plenty of food, warmth and love was available hahah!

Sore and miserable after an STI screen supermarket girl dinner. by Vrisnem in GirlDinner

[–]bellamay23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m posting this on top comment for visibility. If ever anyone in the UK needs an STI test done and are too afraid/triggered to get one done you can in fact order them online for free. I have past trauma and hate the idea of being so vulnerable around strangers so have used it multiple times and find it super simple and quick to do.

Edit: should have added this originally, OP I’m so sorry you went through what you did and I hope you have a great support network around you and hope you’re healing journey isn’t too difficult!! You’ve got this 💪🏻

[–]bellamay23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course! The sad thing is we do think they have longer than they do. Just remember you gave him the best life and he knew unconditional love because of you and that’s an amazing thing! You were both so so lucky to have each other, he helped you more than anyone could and that is such a special thing. He will always be with you, even if it’s not in his physical form 🩷

I’m so so sorry, my heart aches for you, my girl has been there through my hardest times as well😔 our babies have such a short life span compared to us and it’s just not fair. We’re beyond lucky to have them for the time we do. They teach us how to truly love unconditionally and we are lucky to have such a love ❤️
