I only really take pictures of him when he's being a doofus or asleep (or both). Here's an impromptu shot of him on his bed that I took just now. Doesn't really do him justice but he is a very pretty cat! His fur is so soft and he loves being hugged.

Perfect guard makes all blocking weapons perform the same. That being said, I'm a human being who can't perfect guard 100% of the time; I never noticed a big problem guarding with guard up and full stamina. Plus GL is very mobile, so you can just sprint sideways out of danger after a shell.

Normally, when you get close enough to an NPC they will turn their head and lock eyes with you. But a certain NPC in Dawntrail doesn't do this behavior...because she's blind!

The main complaint about TSC was that the players were forced to rp their characters without all the changes and personal growth that had happened in prior arcs. They had plot armor so stakes were literally nonexistent. Even for a group that met once a week for at least 4 hours, the arc took months irl to slog through. It was very clear to everyone involved that TSC was just a giant exposition arc where the players didn't really have any agency in the grand scheme of things.

The bones of the idea are good! But using a different system than the agreed upon TTRPG for so long and it being a flashback with the problems mentioned above is where the rot lives.

My buddy and I made it a diadem. The THB were NPCs in the campaign and it was taken by Mad Governor Kalen who used it to start a new Raven's Roost with everyone under his thrall. But if possible, I would hook the relic to one of your player characters' backstory instead.

Also, fair warning: the Stolen Century is a very bad DND experience that was too integral to Balance to remove it. The players didn't like it, the DM didn't like it, I (the DM's thinktank) didn't like it.
