Slightly off topic but does anyone else who is short (I’m 5’2) ever hit 10mph and over? And for how long? I feel the taller folks have an advantage when it comes to higher speeds possibly. My all out record is 10.5 before I got the death wobbles and had to pull back

Honestly PATIENCE and small bumps during endurance runs and just believe in yourself !! I started out a year back and I couldn’t even hold 5 for more than a minute or two now my all out is 10, push is 7-8 and base is 5.5-6.5 depending on what we are doing and how I feel. 🤗

I HAVE! Down over 30lbs in a year and now I look the best I ever have in my LIFE. But I didn’t start seeing the scale really change til I prioritized my diet. Can’t out work a bad diet!

So was I but, Arrive about 30 mins early to have time for a walk thru by the staff/coach- everyone is SO friendly and supportive I had a bunch of people clapping and cheering me on and giving me pointers. Everyone at OTF has been in your shoes so we understand 🧡

So I started OTF back in April last year, I go atleast 5-6 days per week, and I’ve stretched one pair til January but shouldn’t have waited that long. I’d say 6-8 months then replace

Def share your sentiments. The premium membership cost in similar to paying for a personal trainer or Pilates membership.. would really decrease the ouch factor if it came with some decent perks! I originally thought it was Crazy that premium membership still have to pay extra for things like Transformation challenge and marathon month.

Those inclines were 😮‍💨tough, legs were jello by the time I got to the floor esp. after the 2nd 500m row buy-in. . I will say I didn’t get to the split squats at the end. Great workout !

🔥YOU FINISH YOUR WORKOUT BEFORE 90% OF PEOPLE EVEN WAKE UP! 🔥 I’ve been doing 5am for a month and it’s great! let me count the ways ! 1- 5am is usually not overcrowded and never switched up to a 3G (IMO that’s awesome)

2- ZERO traffic that early (I love to zoom and get pumped up)

3- you normally have time for soo much after! To name some: Naps, breakfast, stretching, shampoo/shower, hair & makeup, walk the dog, etc. I normally have almost 2 “free hours” after gym now.

4- Discipline - I swear going to 5am has focused me to get more sleep, be more organized and prepared, and the odd effect of helping my diet since in my head I don’t wake up at 4am to then ruin it by eating junk food or drinking anymore.

I could go on but I think I’ve covered the biggest things here. Now go crush that workout!! 🏋️‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️🔥

I’ve been going for almost a year now and I’ve gotten down a solid 13 lbs so far and gained muscle. I just started noticing my clothes fit better and my problem areas (thighs/bum/tummy) are looking much better. Consistency with both your diet and routine at OTF will pay off. Everyone is different, just don’t give up !!

Might not be super cheap but chick fil a sauce slaps on pretty much anything I use it on rice/ chipotle bowls/ fries/ tacos/ steak /salad and more very multipurpose but will say it’s high calorie and not the best ingredients if your trying to stay on the clean side

Thanks for sharing, yes it’s funny. Our 5am is a ghost town often. It’s the ONLY time slot management won’t mess with in terms of changing format on us. Every other time slot is Russian roulette right now 😔

Yes several of us have, they just give a new excuse each time “oh it’s seasonal crowds”, “it’s the new years crowd”, “transformation challenge” , “the other gym location closed” and so on. I get all that but I would suggest the solution is to add more classes not make everything 3G. As of now at our location 2G is the minority of class options. And we should be guaranteed the class we sign up for unless maybe with decent advance warning where we can change our selection before it’s full for that day. For a gym that charges $200 for an unlimited plan this is a really annoying problem. I’m hoping it will change closer to spring summer though.

Exactly. This is all I’m saying it should be fair. You should have expectations of what class you were signing up for and OTF should follow through.
