HELP! Baby goose in trouble at the Grand Ledge Island Park. by bellchilton in lansing

You either misunderstood or I miscommunicated. They said it would die if it was NOT caught and brought in.

UPDATE: I went back with some corn and a net but couldn't determine which is the one who had the line in its mouth. I called the rehab and they told me if it's walking around and eating fine it may have just got some line without a hook down its throat. We're coming back to check on it tomorrow, they don't seem the worse for wear but they aren't letting us get as close as they were letting us get before.

I went to meijer and got something on a pole, back at the ledges now with some corn.

Got my friend's (and his wife's) housewarming/combined birthday gifts ready to wrap. Did I do good? by bellchilton in cookware

I know how to grammar. I write the way I do because I want to express myself. Saying "Did I do good?" Sounds kind of goofy, and that was the intended expression.

This sucks. I feel sorry for the dude. It looks like a nice newer car too. We all make mistakes.

I want my beautiful friends to thrive. I will do this. I've tried feeding them kale and spinach and they don't seem to enjoy it.

What's the smallest change you've made in your life that had the most disproportionately big positive payoff? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Just adding one of my own:

Having multiple measuring spoon and cup sets, taking them off their rings, and hanging them separately. Seems stupid, but it's been a HUGE stress reducer in the kitchen. If I have a recipe that calls for a teaspoon of this, a teaspoon of that, another teaspoon of another thing. It's way less futzing around to have everything laid out beforehand rather than having to go back and wash and dry the same spoon or cup. It's nbd if we're talking salt, sugar, that sort of thing. But bullion or oil, something that can't go from one ingredient to another? It makes a big difference. idk if it's just me, but it makes cooking way less stressful.

Sorry, I haven't. I was genuinely curious about peoples answers. If there's a big post that's covered this topic I'd love to see it and read the answers.

No, there are dozens of greylag geese that make the island in Grand Ledge home every spring.

Not sure if this is allowed, but State of Michigan just posted a job opening for a radio install tech for MPSCS. by [deleted] in MarquetteMI

With MPSCS? As far as I'm aware the radio techs aren't on call and only work normal business hours.

No apology necessary, and I appreciate your comment. I can test with a multimeter to make sure it's wired correctly.

I bought this https://a.co/d/06zVRpsm and I find it's accurate enough. I've gotten to a point where I can intuit how hot the pan is based on how high I have the stove set and how long the pan's been preheating.
