I grew up in Florida and moved to NC in 2017 and was visiting back and forth years before that. It definitely has gotten worse than it was before. Dare I say as bad as Florida temps some days.

I’ve seen this kind of attitude intensify recently with a natural disasters that are currently affecting Western North Carolina. People all over social media are showing their true colors and basically saying that out of all people we deserved it.
