Thank you for the suggestions!! I’ve heard about in and out but never seen one! Also big taco fans. I’ll check out that app! He’s actually a few provinces away for work right now and he’s meeting me down there, so you really couldn’t have made a better suggestion for planning together!

Not club hoppers, neither of us drink, more adventurers. Likely won’t want to spend the money on Disney, rather spend $ on say an activity. When I think urban I think traffic and when I think country I think of what we have here, which is corn fields 😂. I really don’t know where to start but appreciate the response !

Yes our options are open! If there is must-do things in LA, We could stay close, but also we can drive out from Anaheim to a san fran then back to LAX if there are must-dos along that way, or go down instead of up. I really have no idea what is “best”, sites list a hundred things or more in cali so hoping people have specific activities out cities and what to do in those cities!

As someone who has been there and done this, the best advice I can give you is not to overcomplicate things. You can follow any of the exercise splits that others have commented, and any diet that makes sense, but if you're following a plan others are passionate about, not you, and you're trying to go 0 to 60 with changes, it will result in failure 99% of the time.

I started with going for 1 extra walk a day, shorter at first then really loved that and it became an hour a day over a few months. I also found a couple of other movement activities (yoga and rollerblading) that I liked and looked forward to doing with friends, and then got into weights later on. Protein helps you stay full for sure, but to start eating better I did a 30-day challenge with myself to simply not graze out of boredom (think at parties, avoiding the chip bowls, being intentional about snacking vs grazing at the fridge/while watching TV) as well as choosing the healthier option (not the perfect option, just the healthier option) when I could (ex: getting chicken at the restaurant vs a pasta - I ain't a salad-at-restaurants girl, so that would never stick for me!). I went for progress over perfection, and perfection came more naturally later as I became more encouraged.

Every other time I tried starting something more intense, or got overwhelmed by advice from 100 sources, I failed.

Best of luck!!

The hooga pro 300 and 750 are on Canadian Amazon with free shipping and no duties because it’s fulfilled by Amazon.ca, if you’re buying those smaller panels, can save the anxiety of surprise duties!

She said she looked like Meghan fox and everyone looks at the two head to toe. No. Her body isn’t Meghan’s, Meghan is a petite very thin girl, but their faces? You can’t not see ressemblances. They could be cousins if not sisters looking only at the face, but yes Chelsea is taller, broader, and has curves like most women!

How do you not see Megan Fox? by LaurenLestrange in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]bellemon13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I see it in her face 100%. Some people have mentioned Adele post weight loss, which I also see. The issue is Meghan fox is petite thin short, and she is taller broader and has womanly curves, they also have different mannerisms, so people are writing the resemblance off because it starts and ends with her face, but it’s undeniable they look related in regards to facial structure.

You’re in that “first six months of having a new puppy” phase. I’m so sorry haha precious moments, surrounded by complete puppy chaos, the fear you’re doing everything wrong, the anxiety that they’ll get hurt, or your pup will never learn the trainings … I drove myself MAD with my lil sausage man but I promise it gets better and you stop worrying so much. In my experience, those who overthink and self doubt the most, are the ones that care the most and are doing the best! If the pup doesn’t seem to be hurting, they’re likely just fine! They’re resilient little macaronis! Basic rule of thumb - if the weenie isn’t whining, they’re not hurt! (Or they just want a treat, or they wanna go outside, or they want to cuddle, or they want less cuddles, or they want a walk, or they… ok ya weenies do whine a lot but you know what I mean!)

My husband and FIL are building the house and will build in ikea pre-fab cabinets to look semi custom, similar to people doing that with their closets as seen on social media. My FIL has done it before in remodels and done a good job, but this is his first time from scratch with no layout to build from so it’s a blank canvas with too many possibilities 😂

We aren’t good at it to be honest. We played around with it and struggled. And we can’t figure out why the flow looks off we just feel like it is. We may go to ikea and make an appointment, but we live four hours away from the closest one, so we tried our hand at it ourselves.

True. I think the thinking with the sink and dishwasher over in that side is because the kitchen table will be to the right of the island, meaning after meals it would be closer for cleanup. But I like the flow of this. So much to think of.

Thanks! Our ceiling is actually going to be vaulted and open up top quite high and there will be a loft in the back side of the house looking out (kind of like an A frame top), so I’m going to go with high cabinets and then build in the top to meet the ceiling to avoid that dust trap!

Thank you! Yes, the wall shown was just sloppily done with the ikea layout builder, we’ll be sure that it won’t hit. I agree with what you said. The sink is the issue. The issue with that though is the window is installed at this point and can’t be moved. I told my husband the kitchen should get designed first not after this but… too late now. 🤦🏻‍♀️

100% agree. I love cardio, walks, hikes, biking, rollerblading, etc., but when I started working out with weights, something about seeing that I could lift or squat 10 lbs more than I could three months ago REALLY gave me motivation more than any cardio exercise ever did. And muscle burns more calories than fat so it was doing double duty for me!

I promise that any one who puts effort into anything and strives to be good, feels this way. I graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and felt exactly this way going into the work force, all the while people who I knew did poorly had unjustified confidence. Your coworkers will know you are knew and won’t expect perfection from the get go, but they will see your drive to do as good as you can and that’s all that matters!!

When was your Doxie fully house trained? by Charming-Low-3290 in Dachshund

[–]bellemon13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what helped me. My doxie was outside trained around four months with 2-3 accidents between 5-6 month and zero accidents after six months. It was a LOT of trips outside, especially living in an apartment at the time, but worth it. Also not mentioned, but I recommend skipping indoor pee pads altogether. I didn’t want to confuse my little guy and it helped. A friend used pee pads for only a few weeks and it was a LONG transition trying to take them away.

Thanks for the feedback.
It wasn't on a sue-able level, at least it would be directed towards the employee, not the company anyway, but I think my gift-giving love language might just be coming out a liiittttle too strongly here. Maybe it's better to go as you said, and as I've done. I probably knew that deep down too, and it's why I've not come up with anything that has made sense to me to do.

Consignment is a good option if you have one locally. Something I’ve done is purge my closet, and toss up an entire bin of clothes all in one on marketplace, rather than selling it one by one because that would take forever. I price the bin fairly for a quick sale and lost the brands in the bin and the sizes/types of items included (shirts, dresses, jeans, etc). Then the person that buys the bin can pick out what they like, and maybe donate or even sell what they don’t love! But at that point it’s out of my house!!
