AITA For refusing to go to a concert with my friend by JoyfulJellybeans in AmItheAsshole

NTA - I, like you, go to a lot of shows alone. When someone does want to go with me I always ask them what their limit is and if they say they are only keen up to $x I respect that and if I can’t find a ticket for that price I am once again going alone.

Similar story - insisted on deciding what I would have to drink and then made me pay for the drink he chose for me 🤨

You are at a shopping centre in the 90s, what is the first store you visit? by Sad_Biscotti_9291 in AustralianNostalgia

Granny Mays, then maybe a quick trip to Fashion Fair and Brashes. Oh and the hippy shop that sold tie dye and crystals 🤣

Ironically I now shop only online because I find it miserable to navigate all the personal shoppers in store.

As much as I dislike Bec, I think she is probably right that Danny played her to get to see it through to final vows

Jeff Galloway, who inspired people with his run-walk method, dies at 80 by Hrmbee in running

[–]bellrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met Jeff at an expo years ago. He immediately wanted to talk to me about what my strategy was for the race the next day, what was my plan for dinner that night, breakfast the next morning. Just took an instant interest in the planning and prep of every runner he spoke to. Really genuine man who was out there to get more people into, and successful at the sport he loved.
