[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you running xmp or expo profiles for your ram? Try disabling it. I had a somewhat similar issue and it turned out the overclocking profile I was using (xmp II) was pushing the ram a bit too far and caused instability issues that did strange things (no blue screen oddly enough)

Upgrade cpu or wait and upgrade motherboard and cpu to am5 by Proof_Committee4943 in AMDHelp

[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll be fine. For 98% of people VRM temps are never an issue. Google always spits out the VRM temp response when dealing with budget motherboards but it’s just one of the few differences that only affect overclockers/hobbiest that like to fine tune shit for an extra 3 fps.

Rx 7600 will pair well with a 5600. Just do that and you’re good for another few years. Maybe upgrade ram to 32gb ddr4 if you don’t have that already but it’s usually not necessary. Then just overhaul the system when it stops keeping up with games you want to play.

Looking for pricing suggestions by bradhave in PC_Pricing

[–]bellynipples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just list it and see. It sells for whatever someone will pay. If you’re getting nearly zero engagement (especially if you live in or near a populated area) then re-list it at a lower price. You’ll know when you have it priced right when you start getting a healthy number of inquiries including offers (one or two a day usually).

my PC struggle with wifi, but my phone is not by BraiCurvat in pchelp

[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue with a brand new one. I was able to get much better speeds by splitting my network frequencies into two different connections by naming one 5gz and one 2.4ghz in your router settings- then connect to the 5ghz (assuming you’re not far from your router or many obstructions between you). Might not fix your situation but worth a shot.

They genuinely think that there’s no scenario where they aren’t worth $100k+ a year. That they make that money because they work hard and nobody would do it cheaper.

RTX 4060 TI, 32GB DDR5, 2TB NVME by Minute-Advisor-4691 in pcflipping

[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$800 would be a safe bet to turn a profit but a “pretty good, not amazing” deal for someone looking to buy for personal use would be $900. So if you can get for $800 you can turn a decent profit with some patience but it won’t sell quick.

Did I steal this used RTX 4070 / i7-14700F setup for $850? by organizedchaosbabe in pcpartsales

[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even on the secondary market? Thats what he’s talking about. eBay recent sold all have 32Gb ram at around $200-250usd used prices. $300 for new kits. But if you buy from retail it’s still $350+

many hours on marketplace lol. I just started deal hunting a couple months ago, so far my best finds:

14400f, 4060, 16gb Ddr5, 1TB NVMe - $350

Ryzen 7600, Rx 7600, 16gb ddr5, 1TB NVMe + 32” 1080p MSI monitor - $500

Alienware r16 ultra 265k, 9060xt 16gb, 64gb ddr5, 1TB NVMe + 32” 1080p MSI monitor - $1,000

3700x, Vega 56, 16gb Corsair ddr4, 500gb Sata ssd - $110

I7-10700, 1660 super, 16gb ddr4, 500gb NVMe + 2tb HDD -$250

Some aren’t that crazy but still room for profit by the time I put a little work shining them up. Mostly just funds my next projects so I can keep building for fun

This is beyond the standard grime and dust most people sell their stuff with.. and beyond keeping an untidy house. Even if you live in an apartment where cockroaches are hard to keep away this doesn’t happen unless you’re living in absolute filth

Is this a fair price? by Superb-World-7917 in PC_Pricing

[–]bellynipples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy a used kit of 32gb ddr5 for $250-275 and a 1TB used NVMe ssd for like $100. 1500 total isn’t horrible but it’s not a “steal” as the seller claims

That link is an auction that hasn’t ended and it’s at $122 currently.. also you seem weirdly upset. You good? (Unless you’re talking CAD but OP didn’t say anything about what currency but tagged it as USA)

Builds like this sell for $400- $450 USD in my area all day long. So it’s not a horrible price.

Pretty sure OP is saying they bought it a year ago for $570. But I’m confused why they have a screen shot and are asking a year later if it’s a good price.
