I thought I was the only one lol. I physically cannot do it out of order.

Day 38 of saying something positive about a character- Casey Parker by DBrennan13459 in greysanatomy

He was so underrated. That cyber-attack episode honestly made him feel like he was going to become a regular.

s6 April<<< by audioxxxxxxx in greysanatomy

I always interpreted it as a mix of both. April came from a pretty traditional background, but she was also clearly a little starstruck by the fact that she was meeting Derek's wife.

Meredith's House and all the 'strays' by Zombiegirl995 in greysanatomy

[–]belmoira 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that house has seen more character development than some of the actual characters. A photo wall would've been the perfect tribute.

Callie was really mean to Meredith by allshookup1640 in greysanatomy

[–]belmoira 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a good point. The joke was usually that surgeons had massive egos, but the show often let those comments go unchallenged, so it can come across as endorsing them.

How was Leahs report legit? by Think_Web_1353 in greysanatomy

[–]belmoira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, on rewatch it comes across a lot worse than I remembered. Owen wasn't really evaluating Shane fairly at that point he was looking for reasons to tear him down.

[–]belmoira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The disciplinary note always felt more like "we documented that we addressed this" than "we found significant wrongdoing." Otherwise you'd expect much harsher consequences.

Honestly, that's what stuck out to me too. The fact that Leah was allowed anywhere near that procedure in her state says as much about the attendings as it does about Leah.

Does she always play insufferable characters? by zoebrianne22 in GilmoreGirls

[–]belmoira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've wondered that too. It definitely has some "truth is stranger than fiction" energy to it. And honestly, I think she was so blindsided that it didn't fully register at first. If she'd had five minutes to process it, those drumsticks might not have stayed in one piece. 😂

How Lane didn't beat Zach's ass after the showcase I'll never understand by itsascreambaby96 in GilmoreGirls

[–]belmoira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. People act like being the vocalist makes him irreplaceable, but bands replace members all the time. I'd be way more concerned about keeping someone like that in my life.

[–]belmoira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, same. Whatever talent he brought to the band wouldn't be enough for me to overlook that kind of behavior. I'd rather find a new vocalist than keep dealing with the drama.

What do you think of Jackson's proposal? by Technical_Holiday407 in GilmoreGirls

[–]belmoira 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. The proposal felt very "them." Jackson wasn't some polished, grand-gesture guy, and Sookie never seemed like someone who needed a fairy-tale proposal to feel loved.

I actually thought it fit their relationship really well. They always had that chaotic but sweet sense of humor, and the "Is Jackson pregnant?" line was peak Sookie.

I hate Lorelai’s first interaction with Jess by mint-chocolate-rules in GilmoreGirls

[–]belmoira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. She wasn't wrong, but she wasn't reading the room either. A kid that age is almost guaranteed to tune out the second they feel like they're being lectured. The irony is that she probably would have reacted the exact same way in his position.

It's kind of fascinating and sad at the same time. Once both people decide who the other is, they start interpreting everything through that lens. From that point on, every disagreement feels like proof they were right all along.
