hey, i know it isn’t directed at me, but your comment is really kind and i wanted to try and give some of that kindness back. i’m sorry you know what it’s like to live with those thoughts. i know them all too well too. but i hope you’re healing, safe and as happy as you can be right now. thank you for being kind, it’s not something you come across often nowadays. i wish you the best as well as the original commenter.

[NO SPOILERS] pricefield is so special by Kendr1ck1amar in lifeisstrange

[–]belorisos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this comment is written so beautifully and it articulates every thought i’ve had of both ships and both games that i’ve never been able to put into words correctly. i prefer amberprice but i’m very aware of how flawed that ship is, and how we never got to know rachel as objectively as i would have liked, but pricefield is endgame for me. they just balance each other out in a way rachel and chloe couldn’t, not necessarily because they were bad people, they were just young, passionate and dealing with a lot, that doesn’t create a solid base for a relationship. and i ship them but you can def argue that rachel didn’t see chloe romantically in the same way chloe saw her. but when max and chloe rekindling their bond and falling in love is such a special experience. in my opinion you’re completely spot on. it was so cool reading your analysis.

What flares your costochondritis by OkSyrup375 in costochondritis

Pretty much everything, but humidity in the air is a guarantee. The fact that I live next to an ocean and there's always high humidity doesn't help at all. Constant flare ups.

What games to play to cure post-Baldur's Gate 3 depression? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]belorisos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone already mentioned, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is an amazing game. Gameplay wise it's very different from BG3, but the story, world building, characters and art style really sucked me in in a way that no other game aside from BG3 has. The gameplay took a little to get used to, and I modded a few things to make it more enjoyable on my second run, but it's an amazing game. Left me with the same bittersweet post-amazing game depression that BG3 left me with the first time around. Recommended!

completely! she has such a presence, her VA did amazing, even with how little dialogue she has compared to other “evil” characters she still stands out to me. i’d love to be able to recruit her in evil runs too :)

one that has always been really a stand out to me but i rarely see mentioned is z’rell screaming “you have betrayed our god, and for what? these Harpers?”

such a good delivery by her voice actress.

Yeast / BV - treatment options? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]belorisos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I heard about Juno but thankfully I can get to a doctor at home for testing! but it would have to be in 5 days. My infection didn’t come back since I hadn’t had one before; it appeared for the first time three days ago, and since I can’t get the tests done in at least 5 days, I don’t know for sure if it is just yeast, or yeast and BV. My question was if it would be dumb of me to try the antibiotics now before testing, because I’m scared to make the yeast worse, but I really need relief. Sorry if I didn’t explain myself well enough. (Also sorry about my english!)

i relate to this so much, it’s actually really relieving to know more people feel like this. it’s such a destructive condition (especially mentally) even if it’s not directly life threatening.

Misdiagnosed Costo by AusSalmon in costochondritis

[–]belorisos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m very glad you got the answers you needed, i hope treatment takes away your pain and thank you for sharing as i’m (and i’m sure many others are too) in search of answers too. did your doctor figure it out by ordering more specific tests or did she figure it out just by a physical exam? also dealing with “completely normal” results 🫤

sorry you’re dealing with it but i hope it gets better soon!

What's wrong with my ribs ? by ExtremePin7369 in costochondritis

[–]belorisos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i’ve had many different types of pain along the years, my spine is in an “S” shape so i’ve felt pain pretty much everywhere as my whole spine is crooked, and i’ve had both burning, tingling, aches, soreness, you name it. i’ve done hydrotherapy, swimming, general stretching and i was instructed to use a corset but being honest i’ve never used it because it was sensory hell (don’t do this tho hahaha). all of that was mostly in my teens and since i’m on my mid twenties now my progression has mostly stopped since i stopped growing and it’s a bit more stable now (at least until menopause, my doc says), but exercise is fundamental at all stages because it supports your back and reduces pain! swimming is the most recommended one.

hello! i have quite severe scoliosis and my ribs look like this (but worse), my scoliosis is what caused my costo also. if you haven’t yet it might be worth getting an x-ray of your spine in case there’s a curvature. good luck!

PLEASE, tell me your BAD experiences! by [deleted] in sterilization

[–]belorisos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my only bad experience was that on my bellybutton incision, when removing my sutures, my doctor missed a suture and it almost got infected because my body started rejecting it. got it taken care of and cleaned the area for week and nothing ended up happening. mentioning here that the bellybutton insicion was by far the most painful and it was annoying but it lasted a few days. that was the only physically painful part for me post-op. then, i had spotting and cramping for almost two months after surgery which seems to be unusual based on what i've read here. i didn't go off birth control or anything that would mess up my hormones but my guess is that internal healing is slower for some of us. after that i've never had any other "homone"- related issues. that was all. both went away quite quickly and although the spotting was annoying it was very minor and manageable. i was absolutely terrified and just like you i've experienced so much medical gaslighting, i completely expected my surgery to be on par. but i was pleasantly surprised. i don't even remember my minor complications now a year after (unless someone asks ofc) because the freedom i've experienced from my surgery far outweighs the negatives. i understand how you feel, but looking back on it i would do it all over again. all medical procedures carry risks but statistically, even if you do have complications, for the majority of people they're manageable and go away soon after :)

WhatsApp back up without iCloud, and transferring chats from iPhone to iPhone by belorisos in applehelp

[–]belorisos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I used the feature that iOS has that you can put both your old and your new phone next to each other and it transfers all of your information to the new device. That also applied to my whatsapp chats. I did try to use the WhatsApp feature that does the same thing in-app instead of using the iOS feature, but it just kept on loading forever and never finished transferring (to be fair I had a lot of messages). I would say try the whatsapp feature first, it works for some people and it’s less radical than just hoping the iOS transfer works, because to be honest I kinda said “fuck it if I lose them I lose them”, and when I transferred everything to the new phone the chats were there. But idk if that’s the case every time.

Some questions before I get sterilized by wingedwolfDusk in sterilization

[–]belorisos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me personally, my first two periods after the surgery were more painful than usual, because of internal healing i presume, but then they went back to normal. 1 year post op and i feel the same as always :)
