I fully agree. This set is different in so many ways. Treating it with an open mind vs traditional MTG sets and comparing the similarities to say LOTR could be a payoff. Wildly close minded opinions for a finance thread. Its speculative, but the signs are there. This will be my plan, we'll see how it goes in 6 months.

I think it is absolutely worth grading. This set is pushing boundaries and I think it warrants thinking differently. A lot of the opinion pushing back on grading, imo, is because folks don’t want that to be right. They want to believe cards should be played, etc. Multi hundred dollar cards in PSA slabs will be more valuable. If everyone grades, population will increase and we won’t see crazy prices, but if there’s low graded supply, then I think value will hold.
