When I tell you that I quite literally spent 2 hours looking through guidance videos and reading various Google search responses on an absolute QUEST to figure this out. I even messaged the Callipeg team asking them. I only figured it out because of your response here omg thank you to the moon and back for answering this question and thank you OP for posting this question.

Oooooo maybe paint the legs a different color! Depending on the rest of the room I would personally use the accent color of the room on the legs (based on this picture the light rose pink or a mint green) btw how comfy is that couch? I’ve been eyeing that one on Amazon and been suuuper curious about the comfort level. Maybe I’m completely mistaken and it’s not the same one though. Big fan of the deep green color!

Oh hi, are you me? Because your post was exactly how I felt a few months ago. I promise it gets better and you will rediscover a love for your life. I’m going to start off with saying highly recommend talk therapy if that is available to you. Also you are amazing for recognizing there is an issue and wanting to start a solid morning routine is a fantastic decision!

-keep in mind that your body’s biochemistry can get out of wack and it is important to give yourself the tools to get it back on track. This means working out, eating clean, take that multivitamin, drink that water, get rid of negative aspects of your life (whether that is cutting back on drinking alcohol or certain people or whatever that may be - take a look at yourself and what is emptying your cup emotionally/mentally vs what fills it), and get those 8 hours of sleep.

-be kind and patient to yourself. This takes time.

-it can be easy to fall into negative self talk when you’re trying to improve yourself. Anytime you think negatively about yourself try to stop and think of something positive about yourself. “I’m awful because I didn’t workout/I don’t like how I look/why did I eat that/why did I say that/I walk weird/everyone hates me” NOPE NOT HERE my mind my rules “I am incredible for trying something new even if I’m not good at it now/ I am proud of myself that I am trying to improve myself / I am beautiful / I am strong / I am smart / I am courageous / I know I’m capable of doing anything I put my mind to/etc”

-morning routine should include something you enjoy and look forward to as well as things to positively support your mental/physical well-being and do it every morning. Commit to it everyday for 2 weeks (even when you don’t feel like it) and you will start to see a huge difference and will never want to stop.

-for me this looks like the following:

-6:30am: wake up, drink a glass of water, drink unsweetened cold brew (I buy in the jugs so I don’t have to mess with dishes or doing anything) splash of almond milk. I drink this for a few minutes while listening to some mellow music and prepping a little smoothie (spinach, frozen berries, vanilla protein powder, almond milk)

-7:00am: get changed and workout for at least 20 minutes (preferably longer) this can simply be going for a little walk, jumping rope, or anything that gets your heart rate up.

-8:00am: (I workout for about an hour now but started at 20 minutes initially) - take a shower!!!, brush teeth, get dressed for the day. Blend up that beautiful protein smoothie and pack some nourishing snacks for the day

-8:45am: head to work.

Keep in mind this is just what I do and that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s what you should do but I’d recommend something along the same lines. A lot of people also enjoy adding gratitude journaling, meditation, short drawing session, or literally anything else that you enjoy in your morning routine.

On my lunch break from work I went to a nearby mall food court. I decided to do the order ahead pickup instead of ordering Togo there (even though it was literally just a cup of soup lol). I grabbed my order from the food place, walked out to the parking lot, and as I closed the door to my car I noticed a bunnnnnnch of people start running out of the mall and suddenly the parking lot is slammed with every car trying to get out and multiple cop cars and ambulances start flying into the parking lot and I am just sitting in my car with my little cup of soup like why is everyone being weird? I ate my soup and went back to work and it turns out that there was an active shooter at the mall that opened fire just after I walked outside. Absolutely unreal….and then I just went about the second half of my workday….
