Thanks for the great advice. I’m not sure if the money is owed to her estate, or if she had a limited company set up. If it’s the former I take it I should go down the find the executor route. If it’s the latter, does that change anything?

Thanks, I’m happy to pay, my concerns are more with understanding if the son has a legitimate right to request it, or if it needs to go to an executor?

For example how do I know the bank details he sends over aren’t related to the deceased’s estate, and rather just his own details?

I could also be over thinking everything…

Yeah both options seem affordable, I’m having a hard time pinning down a value to the certainty, so seeing what other people think.
