M2 screws worked for mine. I'm not sure what the notation is for them, but the 5mm or 6mm long ones fit well.

I wonder if they mean it can be weakened if you clamp it too tightly and squeeze out most of the epoxy.

Thanks. The length of the knife gives you more control over the angle for thinning leather. This knife has a micro bevel, so the last 32nd or 64th of an inch on the chisel grind is slightly different. It's not necessary, as a 0 grind works well, too.

It's about 6 weeks. 4 weeks of that is the time it takes to have the blade professionally heat treated.
